You know, you might want to also consider promoting your blog (depending on forum guidelines) in some pet forums or breed-specific sites.
Even if it's just joining in discussions where you're allowed a signature link-- and letting other dog-lovers get to know you in that way, that might gain some interest for your blog.
PS- just for the new folks-- BlogCatalog doesn't allow signature links in the discussion posts. You check folks' blogs out through their blog-profiles, not link dropping, because otherwise there would just be links all over the place, the boards would get cluttered and hard to read.
Just a heads-up. -
Normally I'm not into pet/animal blogs, but the fact that you write through Mocha & Bijou makes it really interesting. I think you write with zest and enthusiasm, and that shines through. I especially like articles like "TOP TEN THINGS YOUR DOG IS REALLY THINKING" because more people can relate to that! The more I look at your site the more I like it! Keep up the great work

It might be of more interest - if you keep focused on what you are trying to accomplish - and make it easier for the reader to understand and read it - that being, the "opinions of Mocha and Bijou".
No offense - but, just typing initial M. and B. is annoying - I would not only spell out your dogs name as they are talking, but try to inflict personally on each by repeatedly showing a picture of each. You can also do some photoshop and reverse images, or modify the image...
(something like I did once ...e.g.
Oh~ he didn't say that...
Yes he did!~
Make them look like they are blogging and talking the entire post!
2) And more pictures too. -
It's a wonderful piece of work and should appeal hugely to any one of the THOUSANDS of folk who own and adore these happy little fur-balls. Do a little subtle 'marketing' on sites where their humans might gather and the regard and validation that will be your reward should be of a scale that may just surprise you.
Good luck, and keep writing -- You're doing a great job!
