Will Any video converter work on it? I have that program.

Looks promising crpitt thanks. Just need to see if quick time can play it now. Quick time is proving to be a major pain in the proverbial.

Your right, what format does quicktime like?
    2. polybore
Nope quicktime will not play that version either. Thanks for trying crptt. Think we need someone with quicktime pro or adobe pro CS4

.mov seems to be it's preferred format. Although it claims to be able to play MPEG4 have not had any luck with that format so far.

      Got it in MP4
    5. polybore
Excellent thanks. Fingers crossed the polybore quicktime nightmare will end.

It worked on my quicktime thingy, so uploading now for you.

Superb - by the way --- AND -- DUDE - I hope they truly like your stuff - and ask you to do MORE!

You could try FLV --- then of course - AVI should be playing in QT

That works a treat. The only problem now is that it has shrunk the video from 1280 by 720 to some other lower resolution. Looks like any video converter and MPEG4 is the way to go. If you could convert the video without changing the resolution problem would be totally fixed.

Thanks so much for your help have been struggling with this all day and polybore 2.0 does not find it interesting at all which does not help.

Got to go to shops back later.

      Poly try this...

Thanks wagerwitch have a solution now but am looking into your suggestion looks interesting.

You can convert it using Blender. Just load the video into the sequence editor, select "Do Sequence" and change the output format to FFMPEG.

    More about that here:
    wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual/Render/Output_Formats#FFMPEG

Oh, and make sure the output resolution matches that of the video.
    1. polybore
Thanks Friday13 was trying that initially. Unfortunately quicktime seems to choke on blender output for some reason unless polybore was selecting the wrong settings. Had a look round the internet and it seems others have had the same problem.

Have a decent fix now though thanks to crpitt's suggestion.

      Quicktime what a nightmare.
