      I found it and it looks promising. I saw that is in any way supported by Wordpress .org, Blogger and Typepad. Just see if it also works with Wordpress .com.
      
      And see if I can use my own name apart from the accountname that I probably will have to create to log in.

      you can use your own name in intensedebate commenting system...no need to create an account with them ...

      It seems to work for Blogger and Wordpress .org, but not for Wordpress .com. And until now I did not find many who have it on Blogger, so for the exchange between Blogger and Wordpress it is still not ideal it seems.
      
      But I am very glad I found it, as there are others who seem to use it, where I can more easy comment. And it also gives an integration of Twitteraccounts.
      
      I was just wondering why Gravatar can not be used everywhere.

      You don't need a comment system on wordpress. com as the software is already equipped with one which works extremely well. Moreover, you cannot install one on wordpress. com blogs as they are all on the same wpMU multiuser blogging platform. I wish I had known that was what you were trying to do from the outset because I could have saved you time and trouble.

      Timethief, thank you very much for your reply. No, it was not meant to install on my Wordpress. com blog because, as you say, it already works perfect.
      
      But the problem for me was to comment on Blogger. That is why I was wondering if there was no account somewhere that would work 'universal' so to speak, one time an account where you can comment everywhere as long as you are logged in. I thought that was the case with Gravatar, but it does not work on Blogger.
      
      And somehow I thought now, that was the case with Intense debate, but it also has its limitations.
