Smurf When I got to your blog it says "I am Silent, Stupid, Lazy. A dreamer," Lazy and I think Dreamy are smurfs. If you don't know what a smurf looks like it's the blue guys.

"Grasshopper" is a term currently used in jest referencing an inexperienced person who has much to learn. Its use originating from the television show Kung Fu (1972-1975) in which the student, Young Caine, portrayed by Radames Pera is taking instruction from his Master Po portrayed by Keye Luke who nicknamed his student "Grasshopper" as a term of endearment.
I don't know how old you are grasshopper but if you snatch this pebble from my hand ... two out of three times then it is time for you to leave.

Why do you want a nick name in the first place? Most people treat nicknames differently - some take them seriously and others just use them when they have to sign up somewhere and don't want to be associated with that anymore. My nickname has really grown on me and I use it everywhere I can (it is not taken)to identify myself. Which group do you fall in?

In my opinion a nickname is something personal, it should say something about you or describe you in some way. It could be based on your character or skillset, or even your name. Greyer is something like a translation in English for my surname. A nickname can also be based on something you are not but want to be/become. What I am trying to say is that you, or someone who really knows you, should choose the nickname. Or just name yourself after someone (fictional or real person) you like or relay to - many people do so.
