I know I have read time and time again about people making money with them but I was wondering if anyone on here are REALLY making money with them?

I am sure you have to put a lot of hard work into it and get people to your site to make it but when it comes right down to it, is it worth it?

For me I am blogging anyway, but I have been thinking about some of these things (who couldn't use extra money right?!)

I don't want to ask what your making because that's not nice but boy do I really want to know. I'd hate to spend tons of time and space on my blog for nothing.

I guess if you have a product to sell that's one thing but with things like ads is there really money in it?

If people are really making money with these when is a good time to put these things on your blog. When you have 100-200-1000 readers a day?

Thanks,

Yikes I just seen a post on Ad Sense Tips, going to read that one now too.

Still is anyone on here really making anything with them?

I've been making some money with my blogs doing some paid blogging. I'm not making a fortune, but the little bit of cash that I am making sure is coming in handy.

    Thanks..
Would you say it's worth the time to put them on then?

    Thanks again,

Definitely!! Not only do I make some spare cash, but I'm also learning a lot about blogging, computers and Internet. If I hadn't started blogging I would have never known even a quarter of what I know now.

    Thanks once again,

      Hey Bricore,

My entire site is devoted to helping new bloggers learn what is what and to start making some cash. It might be right up your alley.

I've been making a little bit as well, nothing earth-shattering like some of the bigger names you may see but it is nice. I post monthly updates on my site about what I have made between my two blogs - although one isn't really monetized much at all.

It does take hard work but I would be doing it anyways so I don't mind.

onemansgoal- I'll check out your site. Thanks

dsemmle- Yes, I don't want to be online all the time doing it either. I still want a life but sometimes it seems like I am on the computer more then doing things..lol..

    Thanks everyone!

Paid blogging is the only way so far that I've managed to make money from blogging.

I've just figured it out, really. Up until now I have only made money with Adsense (traffic helps) and by selling an advertising spot on my blog. I just wrote about my experience with affiliate marketing. bloggrrl.com/blog141/making-money-with-affiliates-duh/

I've been blogging for almost a month, and still haven't made a cent. It's early days, though.

In terms of monetary reward, I'm counting more on a little bit here and a little bit there from a cloud of more-or-less interconnected sites.

I have heard arguments that the peak of the profitable blog are past, but people have been wrong before. Lots of people.

I make some nice extra money with my blogs, maybe 50-80 a week. Just extra cash that I can putt around with.

I've only just started making money with blogging - I've been doing it for years for free. I don't blog to make money. I happen to make money when I blog, sometimes.

Unless you are full-time doing blog, review products or get paid for writing articles, you might just end up wasting time.

For me, blog can only make extra money and make you more famous.

I have better things to do to make money. Blog is just for fun!

That's interesting, I thought the money angle mattered more to you. But since you include fame in the equation, I guess I can understand your efforts better.

I blog part time and have a steady secondary income as a result. My day job specializes in sales and SEO so blogging is a natural fit. My blog is eclectic but mainly geared towards helping new bloggers optimize their sites and ultimately make money.
