Can you see yourself as a Google Blog of Note?

Me, no...but why do I care what Google thinks of my Blog? Who died and made them god of Notable Blogs?

I'm not sure what Google Blog of Note means or how it's selected, but my blogs are just for fun...I would hope that whatever is "of note" is a much more serious endeavor.

There are 3 rules to being a Blog of Note:

Be really enviro-friendly "Go Green!"
Blog about remote tribal expeditions that you are on
Be totally non-offensive

I'm pretty much screwed...ha!

  Me too and at first I was like, "Oh Someday That Will Be ME!!"
  
  Then a couple hours into blogging I realized I was so out of the running haha...I have way too big of a carbon footprint for those snobs!

  Actually I do most days. I have found some pretty cool blogs that way. Yet with some of them I just think the Blogger team were smoking crack that day.

  Well it's actually Blogger's not Google's (my mistake) and it is a daily Blog they choose to display as their "Blog of the Day" type thing. It's on Blogger's main page.

They pick some weird blogs. I don't think they pick blogs with ads on them though.

Blogs of Note get put on the Blogger home page for a short while. It's just blogs that the Blogger staff find and like. Of course, it has to be non-offensive ... but there are big ol' fancy templates, and plain out-of-the-box templates. Some have ads, and some don't.

Basically, to get to be a blog of note, you have to have a very unusual blog, it has to be well written (if it's a writing blog - there's photo blogs and other types in there too) and someone at Blogger has to discover you - you can't "submit".
