Can you suggest a name for my blog?

I need to name my blog but all the good ones I can think of have been taken...So I was wondering if anyone can think of a name for a cooking blog, Indian(especially south Indian cooking mostly). I may or may not pick your suggestion, but if I did I'll surely feature you in my blog. Thanks for any suggestions made.

I will be very interested in seeing your blog when it is up. My husband's family is Tamil, but they came to South Africa several generations ago. They have retained their cooking traditions, although there have been some adaptations because of the availability of foods.

Most of the Indian restaurants here serve Northern Indian cuisine and my inlaws are a two-day drive away. I would love to have access to some South Indian recipes and cooking techniques!

As far as ideas go, I have a recipe blog (mostly American-style cooking) called Sweet Violet Cooks! Could you use your first name or screen name in such a way? To get more creative, I'd need more information about what the blog content would be, but basically a good name will either trade of your own name or the blog's subject matter ("South Indian Cooking with Maalani" or something like that.

Also, it helps to know your target audience. Are you aiming this at people who already know how to cook Indian foods? Or foreigners who wouldn't know a roti from a poppadom? That not only can help name the blog, it can help target your writing.

  If she's targeting foreigners, Dravidian will go right over their heads. They also will not think to use it (if they've even heard the world) as search criteria.

I did a search for cookindia.com, of course it was taken but other options come up.
Use godaddy name search for domains.

"Masala Night" - I realise that Masala is not a South Indian dish, but it refers to Indian cooking, and it also refers to dinner (i.e. "What's for dinner tonight?")

  I was thinking along the same lines... is there a dish or group of dishes that is representative of your blog? What about the name of the place in the home where people gather to eat? Or where you entertain guests?
  
  Or you could name your blog after something you would say to invite a friend to your home.
  
  I hope this gives you some ideas.

Here's the thing about choosing a domain name and posting it to an online forum. Someone may rush out and purchase the domain before you do. So brainstorming is cool, but do know that you are feeding the heads of folks, who purchase cool domain names cheap and then sell them for a profit.
