This question bothers me all the time: Do you think you can surf the web anonymously?
In my opinion you can not surf the internet without giving away information about you. Every time you visit a homepage you give away your precise location if you are not using a proxy.
So what do you think? Is it possible?

The only thing you can really do to protect yourself is visit so many sites on such a wide range of topics, and get involved in so many discussion under so many different usernames that it would take a psychologist a serious amount of effort to actually work out what the real you is all about.

if you're just talking about hiding who you are from the average web host , this is easy. But there is higher level monitoring.
when I studied computers, we had to study Security and learn how to hack and crack. We had guidelines about where we could go and what we could do. So yes there are easy ways of hiding. But why would you bother?

I really don't think it is possible. You can try your best using Tor and web proxies but you still leave some traces behind. The problem is that it slows everything down. I thought of building a firefox plugin which removes referer, browser and operating system information.

why would i want to remove all the information? or what do you mean?
By the way there is already software out there to fool biometric software. -
