Capture the Flag Game

I started a new group on BC called "Capture the Flag." I think it will be a fun game and get us to read the blogs of others more frequently.

There is a sign up list as a discussion thread.
Let's cover the rules:
The two teams will be decided at random from all signer uppers.
The cut off will be at 50 players, 25 to a team.
Captains will be chosen by me. I will obviously be the captain of one team. Captains cannot have the flag on their own blog.
Said captain decides where to place the "flag" on a team member's blog (can be on any post) so long as the team member agrees. You don't agree? You are off the team.
The flags will be red and blue.
Once the flags are placed, the beginning of the game will be announced.
First one to find the flag wins for their team.
Location of flag must be posted on the announcement thread.
The winning team gets to link drop without being reported for a week.
NO Moles.

it is like capture the flag but with blogs. you have to read through people's blogs on the opposite team to find the flag which is hidden in one teammember's post.

Both teams have hidden flags now
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!! -
@ I started a new group on BC called "Capture the Flag." I think it will be a fun game and get us to read the blogs of others more frequently.
In my eyes this game is an epic failure, not because the Blue team won two in a row, but because the last round lasted 8 minutes, I personally scrolled through the blogs of TJlubrano, Melindaville, Nothingprofound, Stayfit bug, urikalish, and pinkmonkeychatter.
Notice I said scrolled through, I never read a single word, I have no reason to ever go back to any of their blogs as a result, as was the games intent.
I propose a change, I say take the physical flags out of it. And replace it with text in the comments of your teams blog. The "Search Blog" function does not work for the comments of a blog only the contents of the post. Lets not just have the captains do it but for instance any member of the red team can place the red teams flag. Now you have to read every comment by a red team member on a red teams blog.
Don't understand blue team? I figured as much, here's an example. On the blog cooking for assholes - I am placing a fake flag in the comment for - cookingforassholes.blogspot.com/2009/08/moon-pizza-iii.html - You can clearly see embeded in my comment are the words Red Team Flag. You simply have to read to find it, Half of the blogs I read are because of the comments they left on other peoples blogs.
The blog administrator can always go back after the round and erase the embeded comment so it doesn't cause confusion, and a round will last more than 8 minutes. You don't have to wait for a player to be logged on to post a comment ether which means if the game starts at 5 it starts at 5, not 11:45. Also if the people commenting on your blog sound excited about it there's a real good chance that I will go back later and read your blog.
I know you may think this puts the blue team at a disadvantage since they don't know how to read, but if Coco the Gorilla can learn to do sign language the blue team should be able to learn the phrases Red Team Flag, and Blue Team Flag.
If you don't wish to change the game, disregard this statement. It just seems like it would make for a more beneficial game in the long run.
