Did you take advantage of "Cash For Clunkers"? If so, I just wanted to share some good info about new rebate & discount programs.

These are pertinent to me today only because my refrigerator died today and since I'm unemployed the timing couldn't be worse... So, I've been googling to see what sort of rebates are out there and I came across a couple of articles which I thought could help some people:

Here are the two programs.

In the Fall the US government is planning on adding a $300M program "Cash For Energy Efficient Appliances".

Also, Toys R Us & Babies R Us just started a discount program (which starts today) for trade-ins of baby items
