   Just as with all species, including humanoids, some are smart and some are just clueless!
   
   I just viewed the video clip four or five times. Is the cat strapped in, or rather to the couch? Are their arms being moved or are they really playing? Or, is it a hoax?

   depends on the individual animal. i've seen some hella smart cats - but i also had a cat with the equivalent of down's syndrome.
   
   i've seen some dogs that were dumber than a box of rocks - and i've seen some that just amazed me with how smart they were.
   
   in a house with 4 cats and 2 dogs, we get plenty of demonstration of the smart and stupid of both species.
