Who are you taking and why? Kind of hard to bet against New England, but being a horseplayer I like to subscribe to the "friends don't let friends bet the chalk" line of thinking.

If the Chargers can come out passing or hit some play action throws down the field, they might be able to soften up that Patriots defense.

Plus, Cromartie is capable of taking at least one of Brady's options away.

Still....a tough task indeed. What say you?

Pats are going all the way.

Probably, but that Chargers D could be a nuisance all day.

    what do i say?
i have nothing to say in this thread
and just wanted to say that i have nothing to say.

that's alright, we still appreciate you stopping by!

thanks. I already feel better about my lack of appreciation for organized, professional sports.;)

Since my Skins are out (and never really had a chance), I would like to see the Patriots complete their perfect season. It does not happen often so it would be a shame if someone beat them. On the other hand, if it was Dallas, I would not be saying that

Chargers 3-0 off an interception. Patriots look a little off in their timing when passing.
  6. kdawg68
Well, so much for the Pats having their timing off. That Moss run got their wind back and then Maroney goes in for the score. 7-3 Pats. Can S.D. respond?

The cold weather is going to wear down SD. JMO. I am looking forward to the Giants/Packers game. I am rooting for the Packers in that one!

You are now officially my best friend Kelly. Gotta see the Pack in the Super Bowl.

I loved last week's game. That was great fun to watch!

I'm hungry... what are we eating? What's your poison?

So my observation on game day... is that by 6pm in subzero weather... all of GreenBayVSwhoever fans are going to be too drunk and numb to know that their flangies are falling off inbetween the bleachers. Every wisconsonite i know is predicting riots by half-time.

Sorry... no thread set aside for my social commentary... so i do my best.

I wish I had something good but I don't. Something sweet would be my pick.

    Go Packers!

    S.D. needs to score here!!!

I'll probably make a salad in a few...trying to stay healthy if I can. I 'spose the beer I'm drinking doesn't help that.
  10. kdawg68
    Well....game over in 2nd quarter?
    1. kellybax
Thinking that might be the case.....
  11. clioandme
    I'm from New England, so . . .
  12. Crackerbob
Not necessarily; the Chargers are still in it, although I don't expect them to win.

I'm thinking Packers and Patriots in the Super Bowl.
  13. kdawg68
Well....14-9 is still "hanging around" at halftime. It could be much, much worse.

Oh I lived in maine way too long ....it's the Pats all the way:)

Grew up in Maine and lived in NE the first 30 years of my life...still love my Pats.

They're playing like donkey dung right now though...Brady needs to step it up...he looks awful.

All I know is the cable here keeps knocking me off the net... and this time it's affected the tv. No picture, just sound right now. They're gonna piss off a bunch of us Packer fans in another hour or so.

Ever since I lived in San Diego I've been a Chargers hater. That has not changed.
