Alrighty sparky! I just discovered something useful a month back and posting it now for everyone here!! I think I did at least! lol... anyway, ever wondered what you might be doing wrong even when you think your content is fine? Or wondered what exact things you needed to do with your blog so that you get to Number UNO in google?

I am no SEO Maestro but I am ranked number uno for my keywords at the moment and I am going to reveal it how over here cause frankly I never used any softy or other people ever and am no SEO-ESTEIN either. For the last one month I have been trying to fix my optimization and I am not a SEO blogger so there is no point writing an entire post in my site either about how I kinda succeeded.

Okay lets cut it short earthlings and darlings, go to www.whois.domaintools.com and do a whois for your site there! They have updated there whole result thing so when the Whois query is done ya will find a SEO Score for your site (..Mine is 91% and I am too f**kin tired for any more plus, I am happy as it is) lol... When yo get the result, they tell you the exact problems of your site in the eyes of a search engine and I am a living proof that it works too lol... (after you have fixed those problems that is)

When you get the SEO Score and in case you feel its low, click on the TEXT Browser on the right hand side of the screen, it maximizes, click on the content twice and it will take you to a place where it describes what is wrong with your site exactly and what you should do to get right with google or yahoo. Then you fix them and I tell ya, it will surely increase your ranking for the better!!

If you think that this was useful for you after you have used it and is kinda satisfied, please visit my site which is absolutely not related to SEO but visit it as a payback for this post... lmao!! (Shameless blog promotion line hey, cant help it! I am a trafficoholic!!)
Here is my site www.nokiasymbianthemes.com

Cheers and hope this helps!!

  2. ayouthofvalour
    88 that's not to bad
  3. godsofchaos
88 is pretty damn good man!! Mine was only 63 when I first checked before making all the changes they told me to do! Lol..
  4. ayouthofvalour
where do they tell you changes to do?
  5. ayouthofvalour
o lol whoops i didn't finish reading your article i'll check the changes they suggest now
    1. godsofchaos

  6. ayouthofvalour
wow that's really useful actually thanks alot!
  7. kopidunia
Should I be happy about my 92? And I haven't done anything SEO besides using my common sense in terms of tagging and keywords.
  8. dzrbenson
That only checks main domains not blogs unfortunately
  9. godsofchaos
Oh 92 is pretty damn high!! I myself am on 91. Lol.. Congrats..
  10. godsofchaos
Doh! ....you are absolutely wrong. Just browse with the Seo browser to that blog page and do it. O_O
  11. WT
Thanks for the link! My single post pages get a 97%. But my home page and main blog page are only 79%. The errors I don't understand are below. Can anyone tell me what these errors are? I can't find the 4 links referred to and I don't' think I have an iframe. Isn't an iframe a window within a window with its own scrollbar etc?

    2) Link URLs contain querystrings: Rewrite links to work without using
querystrings. (there are 4 of these)
    3) Page contains one iframe: Iframe content is usually invisible to
    crawlers, so avoid using them.

    Thanks!

    SEO Score: 71%
  13. dzrbenson
    What the Hell...

Page contains more outbound links than internal links: Try to make most links point towards your own domain.

If i make my own posts point to my own domains, Google will screw me for Domain farming and my google search results will get penalised... I have about 580 keywords that get front page of google and 92 keywords that get first on Google.

i think i will stick to www.websitegrader.com, Thanks anyway
  14. wenfri
Had to plug in my url for wensonlinebusiness.wordpress.com/

Large images are missing alt text: Large images should have alt text. HUH???

Link URLs contain querystrings: Rewrite links to work without using querystrings. How do I do that??

    Wendy
  15. WT
Yes Wendy, I got the Large images error too in addition to the two I posted above. I tried unsuccessfully to fix and finally gave up. The websitegrader page dzrbenson posted gives me a 97%, so I guess I won't worry about it.

  16. offendedblogger
    64% for me

Guess I need some SEO 101.
  17. ayouthofvalour
lol i got the images missing alt text to, it's wierd
  18. friendsofmissi
    The page isn`t loading....
  19. godsofchaos
Setting alt text is a must cause search engines cant read images remember? Or flash for that matter! You should simply add alt text relevant to your site in the index page, post, single page. And there you have that resolved. Query strings are the question mark in urls. Usually its not a biggie but google usually likes it better when an url is like domain/categories/post-name/tag blah blah rather than domain/showpost?125=666 cause they considers the url like keywords.
  20. kaybday
Absolutely fantastic--my new blog shook out at 96%, but it won't do my blogger blog, just goes to the blogspot.com domain.

Thank you for sharing this--great find.
    1. timethief
      @kaybday
I'm not surprised. I love it and er, may have already checked it out. lol Thumbs up!
  21. talen32
Not bad but I still prefer to use www.websitegrader.com/
  22. mawbooks
Mine was 84%. Can it check subdomains? I have about five and can't see if I can check those. I don't quite understand how to navigate around.
  23. tiggyblog
I got 78%. I'm pleased in a way, because there are things I can improve on. I did sort of throw the site up (if you know what I mean) without taking time to learn about permalinks and stuff, some things you only find out about later on!
  24. bleedingenemy
99% here.. still getting next to no traffic.. yay!
  25. ttiger
    SEO Score:71%

Write Adsense, Explain to them that you are seeing a problem And ask if there is something wrong with your site or your compliance with the TOS. Be professional, and just ask them what you need to do to maintain the accounts good standing.

Google is harsh on enforcement, but like anyone else, works with you if they have a reason to.
  28. smbizcoach
My established sites are all about 96% - must be cool! I noticed this before with whois, but didn't ever look very far into it - good food for thought!
  29. GFG
Thank you for using the DomainTools for your domain research. To protect domain registrants we limit the number of anonymous whois lookups that are allowed. We wish that you will continue using our service for domain information but ask that you create and log into a DomainTools account before doing any more lookups. Sorry for the inconivence.

    Too troublesome for me
  30. djslimchopstick
    Hey, godsofchaos

Thank you for sharing this tool man, it helps alot! Was surprised I got 91% on the my first checked, haha. And i just changed to a new domain 2 days ago, worrying if it would hurt all the SE traffic that i had daily.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing bro

BTW, your site got lots of cool stuffs for nokia would recommend to my friends since i switched to Sony Ericsson recently.

    Keep it up man! Peace
  31. idealpinkrose
i checked different blogs but got all the same score in both of them. All same including the links and percent of the visitors. I think it checked blogspot SEO and not my blogs.

    hmmmm...
  32. bugbaby
is that true ? my seo score is 93%
  33. embassye
I used it and made the changes with the All in One SEO Plugin to up my blog score from 90% to 95% and my main domain from 89% to 92%. Not going to bother with the query links.
  34. cooper
My seo score is pretty low . I don't worry about it, but "website grader" does the same thing though bad behavior blocks full access to it.
  35. WebsiteDesignPerth
98% - must be doing something right
  36. GFG
Anyone actually got SEO certification for their site?
  37. HelloAnnie
childhoodspeech is 91%. the alexa is not consistent though with alexa site. difference of 500,000. sure it is accurate?
  38. LoveIan
I'm a bit clueless about these things.

Alexa Trend/Rank: #237 [Down] 30 ranks over the last three months.
Compete Rank: #116 with 8,208,746 U.S. visitors per month
    Quantcast Rank: #90
    Wikipedia: Listed on 4,066 pages
    SEO Score: 90%

Is that good/what does it all mean!? Hahaha
    1. LoveIan
Wait... I think it just gave me the stats for typepad -- not my actual blog?
  39. furniture27
I got hit with the query strings as well. The thing is that I want links to go directly to the product I am writing about since that is what my readers want. Good tip!
  40. BlogSmartly
    I got a 94% for Blog Smartly - www.blogsmartly.com
    I got a 78% for TeenBlogger.net - www.teenblogger.net
  41. melindaville
Wow--my SEO is 98%. I don't really understand what that means but I think it is good?
  42. gander1272
    I got a 99%

    greenindustrialrevolution.org/blog

I don't really know how it happened, but I suppose it is pretty good. Thanks for the tool.
  43. praning5254
mine is 72%. But I'm glad my title relevancy is 100%... Thanks!
  44. thenglishteacher
73% for me, I'm quite impressed seeing as it's only been up 3 months ;-) but if you want to make it better just go clicking ;-)
  45. blogonsmog
How about doing an experiment? Everybody list their SEO score and Alexa traffic rank. Then I will collect all the info and graph it to see if there is any correlation between this score and traffic. Any other parameter or ranking that should be considered?
    1. HelloAnnie
you mean like send it here? that's cool, it'll take all day!
    2. blogonsmog
I'm not sure I understand. Just list your SEO score from the above website and your current Alexa Traffic Ranking. Unless you mean you've got 1,000 blogs!
    3. melindaville
Well, my alexa rank is pretty low! 2,465,955
      My SEO is 98.

I really don't know what this stuff means though--I am a NOOB!
    4. blogonsmog
My SEO is 71. Alexa Rank is 2,743,516.
    5. hyderabadiz
I would love to see the graph and compare it with other ranks / use graphs. Kepe me posted if this comes thro'
  46. ooozzzie
I got SEO 98 Very pleased as I have been working on it for the last 3 days! So I will have a break from it. SO THANKS FOR THAT!!

The Alexa ranks are just weird, a tip for you, if you download the Alexi toolbar and if you search for your website say 20 times a day, it only takes a couple of minutes, but you can see your alexa rank DIVE down. Yes its cheating and means nothing, but if you like good rankings, then try that.
    1. blogonsmog
Well - if not manipulated then the Alexa Ranking should give some indication of traffic (I hope?). I feel it is useful to see whether this "SEO Ranking" is even relevant to anything. On my website I get a comment that the images do not have size information. Should I go about fixing this? Is it a real problem? Is this relevant? So I want to see if there is some relationship between the SEO number generated and traffic to the site. If not then I will ignore it. I understand that noone other than Google employees really know the algorithms used.
  47. twoblogger
    78% for syjournal.com..

So the SEO score will be changed every update new post..?
  48. Anniepooh
74% on my site (can't do the blogger blog) Odd since ALL I have there is food related. You can't get more optimized. Silliness.
  49. mickismorsels
80% brand new site...not too bad. Need to add meta descriptions, which I may or may not do. cool tool.
  50. annaswan
You won't believe this unless you check it yourself - 96% - holla!!! I was shocked. Floored. Amazed. Very cool tool - and very sweet suprise too!
  51. psychosolodiver
Well, with a score of 89%, I think I would be making at least $2 a month.

    How do you get 100%
  52. Taffy1957
    Wow an excellent post mate,

I been losing my Google rankings for some strange reason, yet this tool gave my blog a very nice 94% !
I'll change what it highlights in red and hope that pleases the Google God.

10/10 for this post, excellent !

    Taffy
  53. Achyut
Although I didn't understand it all, here is my result-
    SEO Score: 96%
  54. dirdjo
I did try for mine (jualandinarirak.blogspot.com) but results shown was for "blogspot.com" and not "jualandinarirak.blogspot.com". Is this tools intended for non-blogger sites?

    please help...

    SW
    1. HalfCrazy
Same here. New to this traffic something.
  55. Timmim
This tool simply highlights basic on page optimisation factors and is a great tool for SEO newbies. However your site's ranking is high mainly because of the sheer amount of backlinks you have pointing to it (thousands)

The tool is ok for highlighting some simple on page changes though.
  56. TheCrazyKitchen
I've joined the 91% club and I am new to blogging. Not entirely new to web development though.

Alexa Trend/Rank: #2,624,781: Up 10,089,555 ranks over the last three months.
