Dick Cheney seems to always be working AGAINST the people and NOT FOR THE PEOPLE.... This time it seems he is trying to manipulate an EPA report on the public health consequences of climate change.

What's your opinion of Vice President Cheney and his history of manipulating government?
What's your opinion on the possible dangers of climate change?

It sure seems that way, but I wonder if it's more a matter of weighing options. Investigations, committees, hearings, etc... all take time and money. The Republicans wasted a lot of tax payer time and money going after Clinton for his extra marital affair and perhaps the current Dems in power want to focus on the issues that will make a difference to more Americans. I'm not sure this is the case, just a theory. The Bush/Cheney administration sure has gotten away with a lot so far - things far more damaging than anything Clinton did.

I think Cheney looks out for Cheney. And by that, I mean he will take care of whomever the highest bidder is.
But he's smart about it. Too smart.
Climate change - that whole debate...while I usually stay out of it, I will say this much. It is foolish to think that our gross overuse and under nurturing activity on this planet has no effect on the planet. At some point, it will come back top bite us on the ass. -
I actually try not to think too much about Cheney. Not too many more months, is it? And the courts keep deciding against him and his ilk.

VP Cheney is a strange man who has a perverted sense of reality in my book, percieving the world through conservative colored glasses. The environment has changed and is changing and definintely not for the better.
Climate change could seriously affect Ireland, South Africa and America. In the case of Ireland, agriculture is still a key component of the economy yet it has been getting progressively relatively warmer here as Ireland no longer has snow when the locals assure me snow was quite common in winter 50 years ago.
I truly worry about the state of the environment and what kind of life my potential kids will have in the next generation.
