I saw them both today on Oprah. Oh my, they are both still so gorgeous! I met Cher when I was just eight years old, and my life changed from that point forward. I've totally adored her and followed her for so many years. She was always my idea of a beautiful, cool, funny, talented woman, and I wanted to be just like her! Tina Turner is amazing as well, but my vote goes to Cher!

Oh no....Tina ALL the way! I've always been a big Tina fan...love her voice & energy.

I wish Cher hadn't had all that surgery I think she looks kinda odd, but she can still sing that's for sure.

I know....Cher was SO beautiful before this last bout of cosmetic surgery, for sure, I still adore her!

I remember her from the 70s tv show...I used to watch it all the time. I thought she was beautiful back then before all the changes.

Tina - she's my private dancer.

Thanks for sharing the good news that these older women are still alive. The extensive cosmetic surgery both have had is a living testimony to the talent of plastic surgeons.
    Cher -- hands down!

Check out Tina ... Proud Mary. Woohoo. I gotta say, back in her day there weren't too many women (if any) who could do a performance like this one.

I'm a Tina fan, I think she's the more talented of the two, although I wasn't aware of her having had surgery,I've never seen it reported anywhere unlike Cher.

    Tina all the way!

I think that they're both great.

Tina's done a lot of promo work in Australia over the years and is still very popular here...

They ARE both great! Cher is 61 and Miss Tina is 68!

      Icons and legends, for sure!

I have my loyal affection for Cher, because I met her at age 8.....OMG, talk about a thrill for a little girl....I've never met Miss Tina, but I bet, she would have been (or is) just as thrilling!

Did any of you see the Will and Grace episode with Cher? Quirky, enchanting humor at its finest ~as were most of the episodes on that hilarious show! But, that's another discussion topic! ;-)

It would have to be Tina

    Tina Turner for sure

Look at all of Cher's accolades! I still vote for her! I mean, Silkwood, Mask, Moonstruck, Witches of Eastwick....not to mention her tv shows, albums, etc. I mean, Tina is uber amazing, but CHER, c'mon.....she is legendary!

Yes, I love Cher, and I'm not ashamed.......

No kidding...when did you two start sleeping together? Just kidding.

Growing up, I was always into music. I have to vote for Tina Turner, for a few reasons.

Better singer, hands down. The woman can sing soul, rock, pop, gospel (yes, I have heard her, and she still has the voice for it).

Cher can't. She just does not have the vocal ability. Is she a heck of an entertainer, I would say so.

But given the the challenge of Cher vs. Tina, it could only be a comparison of music. And Cher just in not in the same realm.

Hmmm... Cher got a great bod and Tina got a great voice...
    I'd choose Tina Turner
  16. chere101
    Tina...she gives a great performance

I like Cher's voice and her acting, but after years of working with victims of domestic violence Tina Turner makes me laugh out loud in the way that you do when something surprisingly wonderful happens.
