Christianity: a Religion of GOD or the Devil?

There are 3 aspects about Christianity that are quite disturbing.

#1: Jesus Christ was not a Christian

#2: The founder of Christianity was a criminal

#3: The symbol of Christianity belongs to the Devil

Jesus Christ never heard the word “Christianity” when he walked the earth, and the man (Paul) who founded Christianity never walked with Christ when Christ walked the earth.

Christianity was founded long after Christ was crucified, and (Paul) the founder of Christianity used to prosecute people who followed the (gospel) teaching of Christ. Then the cross became the symbol of Christianity.

The Cross was designed to (kill) Crucify People. Christ was not the first victim of the cross, nor was he the last. History has witnessed people being slaughtered on a mass scale, burned alive, lynched & many other kinds of Cruelties, all in which the cross symbol plays a major role.

So: is Christianity a religion of a divine GOD, or religion of the Devil, the deceiver? YOU DECIDE.

Jesus was not a Christian- HELLO!!!!!!

The founder was a criminal- St Paul wasn't a criminal he was a tax collec...ok I'll give you that one.

The symbol belongs to the devil- Give your head a shake.

Religious threads seem to constantly get out of hand and degenerate into fairly heated and too often rude arguments. I could be wrong, but it appears that by saying the symbol of Christianity belongs to the Devil and that the founder of the religion was a criminal you are just provoking the kind of argument we are trying to avoid.
Your last thread about evolution was also worded in a way that seems to invite arguments and confrontation.

Religion is a vast subject and we are not going to delete every discussion on the subject, but we are going to make sure the basis of the discussion is to create an open and friendly dialogue and not to create hostility and anger.

Watch the way your discussion topics are worded because if they keep appearing to invite controversy, they're going to be locked. This one has already been reported several times and is done.
