Topics: cmos, roentarre, sensor, what is
Yes, I am quite confused when people mention words like CMOS sensors or CCD sensors when I first heard about dSLR
However, most camera brands only utilised CMOS sensors these days while Video recorders are really still using CCD sensors
You want to read an idiot-made-easy article on CMOS sensor?
Here it is!

I'm still wondering what Canon was thinking by putting a CMOS sensor in their SX1 IS superzoom compact, when the image quality is worse than that of the SX10, which has almost the exact same feature set, but with a CCD sensor (of the same size) and is considerably cheaper. Why, Canon? Why?!
Good thing I read reviews and comparisons and know more about cameras, in general. Whatever camera I get, I'll be sure to read plenty of review for it! -
James - I don't know what to say - but those shoes - that photo... It's almost Magical...
Like the Wizard of OZ in the 25th Century or something.
Very cool. -
I agree with you Wager,
Roen you deserve the right attention, I'm not a photographer though I really love your way of expressing your passion and this comes out from your photos! As for me Cmos, ccd, sx10 etc are worse than arab or chinese languages! Lol! -
