I just built a list of 516 DoFollow blogs and created an OPML file so you can import all the feeds to a folder in your feed reader. I am going to keep adding to it as I find more, so be sure to check back often:

Why aren't all blogs do-follow? Everyones PR rank would go up. It really makes no sense why people don't want it. I screen my comments anyway before they get printed. If you don'tlike a blog url left in your comments, don't print it.

There are plenty or reasons for not making your blog dofollow. I manage several business blogs and they are nofollow and most definitely should be that way. They are protecting their brand and value of links from their blog. With PR 6 and 7 if they were dofollow they would be hit with worthless comments from people trying to make a score off of them. Currently because they have a limited amount dofollow outside links in the blog the value of those is top dollar They can easily get $500 monthly for a post link, if they had more traffic to either blog they could command a few times that.
Then there are other professional bloggers who don't need dofollow to get people to come to their blogs. Dofollow would simply make their blogs more work for them. That doesn't mean a nofollow link on these blogs are worthless though. Pagerank might not transfer I still get plenty of hits from links left on popular nofollow blogs years after having left a comment.
All that said I am still a proponent of dofollow blogging and commentluv for that matter. Why because most of us will never be PR 6 or 7 even if I do have a few blogs in that category which are dofollow btw. Secondly since most of us will never get 10k hits a day like some pro bloggers, even those of us who blog for a living, anything we can do to attract new visitors and get comments is good. Dofollow blogging is good for most bloggers, but don't always assume it is good for all bloggers. The counterpoint to that is if you are adamant about your blog being nofollow, that doesn't make you important or a better blog, but it does often times make you out to be a prick.

I see I made it on to your list. Many thanks. I've been lazy about commenting in the past...a defect which I am about to remedy. I think its important, though, to remind people that commenting is an art. Comments should add something to the readers experience. Earlier on today I got a comment which consisted of the following .. " :)"....needless to say it was rejected. Please say something which stimulates a debate or adds to an existing discussion. ALL dofollow blogs are moderated ( or should be ) and it is necessary to do a small amount of work to earn your link. Anyhoo....feel free to comment on americymru.blogspot.com . If you do, I will Follow...and comment back.

@hareen86 (or whomever else this might help) : Blogger blogs are nofollow. There's no dashboard option to change this, but you can edit your template's HTML to remove the nofollow attribute from two places: comments, and backlinks. I just found a very clear, concise article about how to do this: webstractions.blogspot.com/2007/05/removing-nofollow-from-blogger-styled.ht... .
Using those instructions, I removed nofollow from my comments section (because I moderate comments, so no spam will get through there, anyway), but left it for backlinks, because I'm still new to all this and have no good idea what the downside might be.
Hope this helps. -

What is the point of a dofollow blog list? Just commenting for the sake of commenting isn't going to get meaningful traffic to your blog. Especially if the blogs are about a completely different subject. They aren't going to subscribe and they aren't going to buy anything. I assume that is how most people are using these lists, i.e. commenting on as many of them as they can in order to get backlinks.
Remember, if you are trying to increase your Google PR, you need relevant backlinks. Quality is more important than quantity to search engines like Google.-
@JP2112
I agree 100% with you.

TT -- would you say that Comment Luv (do follow) is harmful? Also after reading your post about links above, I am concerned about using a links page. Currently I have a green links page but now am thinking that it's not a good idea after reading your post and this post www.jimboykin.com/what-a-links-page-should-not-look-like/

Actually, for the aggressive SEO, there are good reason to actually seek out some nonrelevant backlinks...
P.S. Stephan Miller, however is a niche blogger. He maintains blogs with several different themes and a diverse list of places that welcome his self promotions is a more beneficial thing to him that to someone who just runs one blog on one topic.
