OK, so all of a sudden, comments aren't going through on my site...
I have no idea where to even START looking for the problem. Has anyone had this issue before? I haven't changed anything in the database of the site...
I'm using Wordpress and hosted on Yahoo.
Any help will be so appreciated.

First check your spam and comments held for moderation. Has your wordpress been upgraded or do your plugins related to comments need updating?
-
Did you turn on comments moderation? If you log in to your wordpress dashboard, under the comment section, do you see comments with "awaiting moderation"?
By the way, what do you mean by "aren't going through"? please clarify =) -

If you cannot find my comment then the place to look for it is in your spam filter.
Which spam filter are you using please?
What is the blogging platform you are using?
Is the comment function part of that blogging software?
Or are you using another commenting system?
It is possible that you have a conflict being created by incompatible plugins or plugins that have not been updated or just too many plugins. Therefore deactivatiing all of them except your spam filter is a good way to check. See if the comments come through with only the spam filter activated. Then see if that spam filter is collecting comments that it shouldn't be. If it's working properly then slowly activate one plugin at a time and examine the effects of doing so.
You also seem to have a lot of script running on your blog and some of the stuff in your sidebars is too large for the space so it's overflowing on the right hand side sidebar. I'm not sure if this has any bearing on your comment problem or not. -
I just checked my spam folder (I have no idea why it didn't occur to me)
I'm using Akismet and it has all the comments in there. GAH!
Anyone have issues with Akismet lately?-
Sometimes Akismet, like any spam filter, can produce false positives. When this is the case you must review what's in there and "rescue" the legitimate comments by marking them "not spam". There is no "quick fix". This will have to be done several times for each comment until Akismet "learns" that each one is not spam.
The Akismet support contact form is here
akismet.com/contact/
You can mark your support as " I have a support or feature request" because it doesn't "fit" into any other category. -
You're welcome. I've been through this myself. I had far too many false positives. However, the breaking point for me is when my own comments to my own blog were marked as spam. In January I switched to using Defensio and I'm pleased with the performance defensio.com/
