Competion for search engine. Who will win?

Topics: bing, pagerank, xrank
I recently noticed a new search engine called "Bing" introduced by Microsoft and today I just visited it. No doubt it is a faster one. And I was delighted since one of web sites is in its first page for many few keywords while it is in fifth page in google. It has introduced "xRank" coinciding PageRank. I can't guess who will lead in the near future in search indexing.

G'day,
I do not believe there is an actual "competition". I use many different search engines and I assume others due also. At present and generally speaking the most relevant search result returns on "general topics" are produced by Google. However, this is not the case when one is researching within specific niches. There are search engines within niches that do provide more relevant search returns.
You are most certainly free to register your dissent with my POV, however, it's my opinion that all the "hype" about search engine competition is created by people, who are not deep thinkers. IMO they are probably drawn to "brands" when it comes to food, clothing, and everything else in their lives too.
Bing is simply a new name for Live which now has some new features. It produces better results for images at this point in time and there is less advertising on search result pages. Another is that local search results are more relevant. Also, if you love prono, the videos autoplay for you. Big deal! The overall relevance of search results from Google is still far better than it is from Bing.
To knock Google out of the winning search engine position, Bing or Wolfram need to either do all things really well, which they don't, or do one or two things really well and find an audience that really cares about those one or two things. I don't think either Bing or Wolfram accomplish that and hence neither are a threat to Google.
You can click this link and do the same test search on Google and Bing at the same time and compare the results www.blackdog.ie/google-bing/
