Since Monday I was having a really nasty problem with my Computer and I couldn't log to the internet in period.
The Computer would automatically shut down when I tried to log in.
I then hired Invisus to gain access into my Computer and find the problem.
They found all kinds of Trojans, Malpackers, Trackers, Viruses and other problems.
The Technician who worked on my Computer also noticed that my RAM Memory was pretty low
and suggested I purchase RAM as soon as I can.
Where else can you get quality service like this?
In the past I have used Norton, Registry Cleaner, Spyware Detective, Spyware Doctor,
CyberDefender, Ninja and a whole bunch other crap that never worked.
So far Invisus is the best service I have found to rid me of Computer Viruses and other problems like this
and I am very happy with the service.
You can find them at www.myinvisusdirect.com/JSasser/
It was Jennifer (a friend of mine who told me about them)
Who are you using and are you satisfied with their service?

@achuna... My TECH did that to my surprise and the set up now looks much better,
plus everything that I downloaded is accessible now, before it was all over the page.
Plus near my start button I now have programs lined up there too.
I had this before but somehow it got deleted and no longer showed up there
but the TECH took care of all that for me and everything is back to normal.
-
@thoughtsofg...Yup most have some shields running but that still doesn't work.
You would be surprised to know how many other Viruses you have.
I tried so many and I found out most actually place Viruses in your Computer,
to appear to be removing them and doing some work.
After a while the programs aren't effective period
because they just keep finding the same old Virus and deleting it but not solving the problem.
I'm not trying to sell you a program but this Company does everything and even scans your emails which harbor some nasty Trojans and Viruses, especially from Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail.-
@thoughtsofg....That FREE to me sucks and I'll tell you why.
Though it appears to be working, it is acting as if it's doing work but it's not.
Unless you are paying for a service Monthly where a Technician actually takes your computer from you for a few hours and go in and do the work, it's not a legitimate program.
The TECH is actually running several different programs to find the problem.
The TECH will also tell you if you need more RAM or if you need to defragment or other things that is required to make your Computer run more effectively, while the TECH is searching
to find the problem.
My TECH ran over 10 different programs and started from 11:00 am TO 6:00pm for 3 days straight to find all kinds of stuff that clogged up my computer and was making it run slow.
This to me is SERVICE.
A run or downloaded program doesn't do this type of service.
A run or downloaded program only does what that specific download
was programed to do and does not do the INDIVIDUAL SERVICE that each computer requires. Each Computer will have different problems and a downloaded program isn't going to SERVICE Everybody's needs.
This is what separates INVISUS from the others.
I bet you, if you decided to try INVISUS they would completely kick off that Free program
that you are using and they would show you VIRUSES that it's actually causing or harboring.
Most of these downloaded programs harbor Viruses.
I was surprised to see the TECH kick off my Evidence Nuker which I thought was working.
He found 12 Viruses in that program and that was a program I paid for. IT SUCKED.
I had also UNINSTALLED that program called CYBERDEFENDER from my Computer months ago and my TECH still found it hiding in the Computer at another location.
He found it and Deleted it completely from my Computer and that thing harbored 13 Viruses,
9 Trojans and 4 Malpackers, another useless FREE program.
@calais50, I also tried that McAfee, and it did nothing.
Also my Invisus Tech told me that McAfee is one of the worst programs you could get,
it harbors viruses. -
Well Jenelle that's my mindset too. I used alot of those programs you listed up there; I can understand the frustration with this kind of thing. But seriously, Avast is worth a try. And its licensed and accredited. They only give the Home Edition free btw. I definitely can see how having a tech gives more peace of mind though. You had these bad experiences with those crap programs like I did.

Do you know that new Malware exposes your Router?
Hackers can change your Router setting to alter your internet destination.
All internet activity that you do will go through to the hacker first.
Your information stolen and your identity lost.
These Hackers are getting more and more sopisticated in ripping you off.-
Well... a good anti-virus/spyware should keep that Malware out. And a good firewall would keep your computer "invisible" on the internet. If you want to know how secure your computer is, try this: www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Yup Invisus has a really strong Firewall and it's not annoying like when I had Norton,
Norton kept asking me permission to download everything.
I couldn't do anything on my Computer without Norton's permission.
It got to the point where it was quite annoying and it prevented me from downloading stuff.
Plus I would have to (Back up) the computer once every two weeks
and that sometimes took anywhere from 4-7 hours.
It was very slow, annoying and frustrating.
My patience was running thin with them and I finally got rid of them.
Then they tried to charge my account after I cancelled service a year after.
I had to wait 4-9 days to see my bank account refunded. A complete disaster. -
@thoughtsofg... I hear you, it is a big pain in the arse
and yes I fully agree with you that if you are satisfied with a service
and you believe it's working for you, then yes stick with it
but later when you run into problems and you will eventually,
you will have to question if the service you have is really working
or if it's just another downloaded program that doesn't service everyone's needs.
These Trojans and Viruses are are getting more sophisticated and harder to find and delete but Invisus keeps changing their Virus programs often and making them compatible to find these hidden trojans and viruses.
They just don't sell you the same old program that sooner or later becomes ineffective in finding these hidden problems.

I don't pay anyone I use AVG free, Avast is also good but to me almost as much of a resource hog as Norton and McAfee. My computer is lightening fast, I use "cclean" daily, lavasoft adaware check daily, and run "spybot search and destroy". All free, and I am bug free.
Windows firewall works well for me on this computer. In the past I used Zone Alarm, it started to cause problems when I switched to Vista.
I know because in the past I've been full of trojans.-
@cooper you'll be surprised to know that Invisus absolutely HATES that
"Spybot search and destroy".
Invisus also HATES Windows Live One Care which I had years ago,
another one of the worst programs out there.
It's one of the worst programs out there according to Invisus
but I used them too and I can tell you it was the worst as well
Invisus works for the Government and Police Departments using the same software
but constantly updating their software programs, what you are purchasing is not just anti-spyware, but anti-virus, firewall, patch management, security alerts, FREE tech support right here in the US, up to $50,000 Identity theft insurance!
Right now I pay only $14.99 a month for this service and I am very happy with this service.

Yeah AVG is alright. I'm using ZoneAlarm cause I'm using XP. All the stuff you listed is great though. But Avast being a resource hog... that's surprising. I've never had that kind of problem with it. Point is there are great free programs like the ones you listed to counteract all the other crap on the internet.

It was some time ago that I used avast it may be less so now because back then people complained about it. It ispossible to keep your computer quite clean for free, yes.
I never touched my computer until college, and with uni ethernet the thing became loaded with horrible things so I had to learn how to clean it up.
-
-
@cooper...No not in my view.
If the program is not constantly changing it's program to meet the new problems that are arising daily with Hackers who are becoming more and more sophisticated, the program is a SUCKY program
that you believe is working but really isn't.
Also I want to make it perfectly clear to everyone that I do not work for Invisus, I am just a person
who tried a lot of programs that didn't work but claimed to be working. -
In the past I have used Norton, Windows Live One Care, Registry Cleaner, Spyware Detective,
Spyware Doctor,CyberDefender, Evidence Nuker, Spybot,
Ninja and a whole bunch other crap that never worked.
Most were Free programs and some I paid for like Norton's $99.00 a year program that Sucked.
Windows Live One Care I paid for too and that sucked.
A COOKIE IS SPYWARE NO MATTER WHAT!
Spyware is created for one reason - to take advantage of other people; to spy on you,
watch you, track everything you do, and steal information about you.
Spyware comes in a variety of forms.
The most common are "spyware cookies" and "spyware programs".
A spyware cookie is any cookie that is not used only by a single web site for its private interactions
with its users, but is shared across multiple sites.
When multiple web sites read from the same cookie, or when they pass info from the cookie
on to another site, those sites effectively share your personal information without your permission.
Although most spyware cookies are not necessarily dangerous, they do invade your privacy
and exploit your personal information for gain.
Most people hate the fact someone is watching and tracking them while they use the Internet, and then selling your information
to unscrupulous marketers and spam operators.
Spyware programs are really commercialized hacker tools
built to allow someone to literally watch you and track everything you do on your computer.
There are an increasing number of these spying programs now
freely available on the Internet for purchase.
Some of these newer spyware programs allow the intruder to send electronic greeting cards that install several hacker spy tools
on your PC while you are reading the greeting card.
Many of these malicious spyware programs allow others to read
your e-mail, see what web sites you visit, turn on your web camera and watch you, gather your computer passwords, and much more
Some other malicious programs also classified as spyware
include keystroke loggers and web-dialers.
While keystroke loggers track your every keystroke, web-dialers automatically dial certain 1-900 numbers from the victim's computer without being noticed, running up huge phone bills through the victim's ISP service.
These types of hacking and privacy invasion tools often lurk silently on your computer until something or someone sets them off.
When that happens, you could lose passwords, personal data,
credit card numbers, and open up a back door to let the hacker
into your computer or even your entire network of computers
in the office.
These dangerous spyware programs sneak past your firewall
and anti-virus programs to invade your privacy and gain access
to your computer.
The ability to detect and remove these malicious programs
from your PC is a critical part of your overall protection.
FACTS:
. You get infected with spyware every time you surf the Internet.
. Some spyware is sent hidden inside electronic greeting cards,
planting the spyware and hacker tools on the computer
while the victim is reading the greeting card.
. Some of the popular ant-virus programs now claim to protect against spyware, but they really only scan for spyware cookies
and other common nuisances, leaving your computer vulnerable
to the tens of thousands of other spyware programs floating
around on the Internet.
. The average PC is infected with at least 28 spyware programs.
. Invisus also alerts you when you're not at home, if your kids have been playing around on your computer visiting Porn Sites.
This is good to know especially if you have kids. -
I use Avast, Ad-Aware, Spyware Search & Destroy and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Xp's built in crap has been no help what so ever. At least with avast, a warning pops up when downloading torrents that have viruses.

If FREE worked, then why do major companies spend billions on internet security???????
Trust me, FREE SUCKS. -
@thoughtsofg...Hey my personal information is just as important as theirs, so is yours.
Some of these companies help to get our personal information stolen too.
Such as LifeLock, which was sued by more than 3 States in the USA
and also sued by Experian and the other credit card companies.
Your peace of mind and identity is important too and priceless.-
Of course, that is true. But obviously these major companies have a business to run; spending a lot of money on their security now could prevent devastating attacks or losses down the road. As for LifeLock...that actually looked cool; guess it didn't work out. And yes most free stuff is a bunch of crap; can't disagree. This gives me a headache xD
-
-
@thoughtsofg...a headache...hahaha...yes I see your point.
I too have a business to run and so do many other people on the internet
and if other major companies are spending some money to get quality service
and protection for their computers and businesses, shouldn't we?
LifeLock always had me laughing...
"Hi I'm the President of LifeLock, this is my real penis and we can protect your family jewels".
Unfortunately they couldn't protect his (the President) of LifeLock's
Social Security number either when it got stolen and used fraudulently
then he tried to hide that bit of information by covering up what really happened to his Identity.
That is why Experian and the other credit card agencies sued him and exposed the fact,
that he tried to hide the fact that his identity was stolen,
when running those stupid LifeLock commercials of his that we see on Television.
