Confused With Wordpress Meta Description

i am totally confused with meta description in wordpress can anyone help me out in giveing complete meta description for single post meta description and home meta description

For meta description.. you have to go into your Php file. Go to heading and then under the title.. you can insert your meta description and meta keywords. There's also wordpress plugins that do this for you if you don't know how to hack codes. Just google it and I am sure you will find some
