Costumes For A Halloween Wedding

I am having a Halloween wedding on October 31, 2009. I am trying to figure out how to incorporate cosutmes as I have had feedback that people still want to dress up nice for the ceremony (im still in a wedding dress just red and the groom with be in a nice tux). Both the Ceremony and Reception are being held at the same place. I can do a Costume themed reception but how can I ask the guests to dress up? Thoughts???

I suppose it wouldn't be funny for the bride and groom to dress up as divorce lawyers...-

You can make it a Vampire Ball, that way people can dress up nice, but still be in the spirit of Halloween. -
make it come as your favorite Disney character. That covers a lot of ground.
