Court Drama!

Have you ever been in the middle of one of the Top 10 most controversial court cases in your country? Now going through precisely that experience I can honestly say it isn't any fun.

Having my working day start at 4:15am every morning and ending any time between 6:00pm-10:00pm I don't recommend it! Without divulging any of the evidentiary aspects I will endeavor to take you on a 5 week journey to get an inside look of what it's like working as part of a prosecuting team in one such case.

So look out for my weekly round up every weekend, and short updates during the week as they happen. This is only day two of the trail and already I received frantic phone calls from friends and family who saw me on the prime time news. The experience range from being exciting, bizarre, scary to utterly exhausting.

So Do Stay Tuned!

I assume that you have familiarized yourself with the recent cases of mistrials, judgments being set aside and attorneys, judges and jurors being sanctioned for making blog posts, tweeting, posting status updates, etc., that they considered acceptable but discovered that a judge or disciplinary commission disagreed?

Ayuh - MX - I'm in a situation where I am involved in a BIG Case... And even though we expect the opposing parties to settle - It may go to trial - And I have been told I can say MINIMAL about my case - online OR off. I have been advised to tell NO ONE about the details. Or to talk about it.

My case is extremely big - and I think eventually everyone will know about it - and I'll probably end up on all the talk shows - and probably end up the butt of many jokes - or the opposing side will. It doesn't matter - right now - and until it is over - we have been told to keep our mouths shut - as it can affect the ending.

When it comes to high profile court cases - the tighter one should be about these kinds of things.

Our case will be in the tens of millions of dollars - I CAN SAY that much. LOL!

However with PAT being in another country - it might be a bit different.

Yes I am, that's why I will only write about my experience and omit all the actual details of the case. Will not comment about content of testimonies, evidence or the actual strength of either side's case.

So, we don't get anything until the case is on all the news sites. Great

Kinda, but understandably I can't divulge anything that may compromise an ongoing court case. But at least for those who has never been involved in any such case will get a behind the scenes look at what really goes on.

I know it's like what's the point of saying anything

The point is that I blog about my experiences and right now, this is what is taking up 99% of my waking life. Some might find it completely irrelevant, but those who read my blog regularly will be able to get to know the other side of me which they may not have known before.

The last time I was in court, I went to jail. I try to avoid that place like the plague.
    1. cuteptaguy
      That's not good, for what?

I went crazy as a teen and was arrested for DUI. Spent nine days in jail and will never do anything to cause me to go back (except murder the ex).
    3. cuteptaguy
Good to know ;-) Glad I am not your ex!
