Creating links in a broadcast

Does anyone know how to create a link in either this message box or when you make a broadcast? I tried the a href=""... but didn't work. This is probably the most simple thing but I'm going crazy trying to figure it out.

Make sure the address is seperate from the rest of the sentence. I just saw your broadcast and that was the problem your...wasn't seperate...http://proofpositivity.blogspot.com
