I came across a girl whom I do not particularly care for and did what I always do... googled her. As the results popped up I was stunned to see a whole hell of a lot of derogatory info about her that is pretty dead on, but still excessive. Now my questions are:

If someone is a scammer and a bunch of people call them out on that, is it considered cyber stalking/harassment or do they forfeit that right to privacy?

If information is true is it still a crime to post? IE: My fiance ____ is a cheating hooker?
The definitions I saw, because my curiousity was seriously peaked, said false accusations but I know these laws change all of the time.

Where is the line drawn?


I'm kinda curious not only in this girl's case but also because there are some pretty nasty things about me out there as well. What say you bloggers, what's the good word?
