Who's your super hero? Iron Man or Batman? In 2008, when Iron Man released, it was declared that it beat all super heroes including Superman, spiderman and batman. It is the world's top 3rd movie to run successfully at the box office, after Titanic at 2nd place. It wasn't over. Dark Knight has created history as the world's top movie. About 150 million dollars was spent to make the movie but approx. 1 billion dollars was earned.

That's a hard decision to make! I loved both movies. In Dark Knight, Batman had some anger management issues which turned some people off. Joker was so amazingly, nonstop insane. In Ironman, he was a bit of a cocky s.o.b. but I was very happy when they hinted at a sequel. And it was great for the cameo in The Hulk at the end.

I agree. Hard to pick one. But if you put a gun on my head, I go with dark knight. I guess because it has the better plot. Very unpredictable...

I liked batman begins... and hated dark knight. I liked Iron-man for the awakening-the-kid-in-me effect... but neither I'd consider to be my go-to-hero.

Jason Bourne is my 'super-hero' for these reasons:

He has all the characteristics of these costume guys... he has a foggy past, he's a bad ass, he abides by the 'code hero' laws (western novel theory), he's a bit james bond-ish but more 'real', he's after something bigger that will take many discoveries to unfold... he's always evolving, which I cannot say for batman and other super-heroes which to me appear very static. He's interesting, you feel for him and his progress toward a goal...

    So, my vote. Jason Bourne.

The Bourne Identity movies are great!

I thought the Dark Knight was good, but I can't stand that tiny-lipped Christian Bale as Batman. I found him very distracting because I didn't buy him for a minute in the role. That's too bad, because it could have been fantastic. Hubby absolutely loved it.

On the other hand, Iron Man was well cast and the characters believable from the word go. It was sheer fun and comic-book frolic, all of the way through.

to be frank i have never watched dark knight. it was rated 5 stars on five. i watched iron man. loved the movie. iron man's a different concept. unlike superman or spiderman, he doesn't have powers, but it's his suit. i love his name: tony stark. superman returns and spiderman 3 were flops. i don't think they are going to make sequels. does any one think we need more heroes?

Another hero is another t-shirt is another dollar. What do you think about Jason Bourne (referencing my above post)

like Dark Knight, it's really deep though also really dark which not really good for all audience
loves Iron Man for good special effect and some funny scenes.. think it's suitable for almost all audience
thus i go with Iron Man

Jason bourne? i do like the bourne movies. i'm talking about superheroes, who have fictional powers. people like bond, bourne are on a different platform. i like ocean's movies when compared to bourne series. your bourne guy is also there in ocean's 11, 12 and 13. coming to bond, he's cool. pierce brosnan was better than daniel craig, who was good in casino royale but very bad in quantum of solace.

Batman doesn't have super-powers. Ask yourself this... if Jason Bourne wore a batman suit, would he not be a better Batman. My answer: yes.

So does a super-hero have to have super-powers. no.

      My two cents

it think Jason Bourne will only lose to Bruce Wayne in hand-combat.

    Dark Knight rocked!
I love Batman movies. They feel so real as it's a common man!

I disagree. There was nothing about the Dark knight that felt real other than Heath L.'s take on the Joker, which I know, is a statement that doesn't need to be said again.

The movie failed for me because, Batman was annoying, the supporting characters, weak and I remained emotionally distant through the whole thing. I didn't care when the girl died. I didn't care about Batman. I just wanted the Joker to kick some more butt and say some more twisted dialogue.

I think the movie would have been a lot better if they would have done the 'my side of the story' take aka 'Grendel' take and focused on the Joker, and told the whole movie from his side of things.

They're both great movies, watch them both.

I love Christian Bale as Batman, others may disagree, but I think he does a great job playing the both Bruce Wayne and Batman. If you don't like Bale playing those characters than you don't like Batman or Bruce Wayne, because in my opinion he hit the nail on the head. Heath Ledger as the joker was obviously amazing, best role ive seen acted in a looong time.

However, IronMan is also a lot of fun to watch. Nothing better than seeing the good guy win, especially when he kicks some serious @$$ to make it happen. RDJ did a great job playing the part of Tony Stark too.

Iron Man was better than I thought it would be.

      I loved the cartoon series.
