In my latest movie review I seek out a 1979 Italian science fiction film that shamelessly rips-off Star Wars, bizarrely casts Christopher Plummer and David Hasselhoff in lead roles, and inevitably claims the title of best bad movie I have ever seen.

Hope you enjoy reading the review as much as I enjoyed watching the movie. If you like it feel free to check out any of my other reviews.

Oh no you don't....I dissappear for a few days and someone tries to mess with my monopoly of the Hasselhoff/lightsaber discussions here on BC?

If you like this film I'm guessing you are familiar with the site badmovies.org

It pleases me to recall that I emailed the author of that site and alerted him to the existence of StarCrash back in the 90's - and it has since become the standard by which all other crappy movies are judged.

I'm shocked no one replied. We could've started a brilliant crappy movies discussion!

Instead, I'll amaze you all with the latest from SCAD shorts.

This oddity probably deserves it's own thread.

Yeah, I am a fan of badmovies.org, though I am trying to do something different with my site, namely search out hard to find or little watched films. I try to bounce around between low and high brow as well. Keeps people guessing.

But I have to admit watching Starcrash is like finding religion.

That is beyond bizarre, I think that's weirder than the pencil face one.
