In reaction to the recent anti-gay ballot initiatives in California there is a movement called
Day Without a Gay - www.daywithoutagay.org/ set for 12/10/08
I like the guerrilla marketing and grass roots effort
from the site.....
Gay people and our allies are compassionate, sensitive, caring, mobilized, and programmed for success. A day without gays would be tragic because it would be a day without love.

If I had any gay friends or damn job maybe I would call in... Well I do have gay friends, not to sure if they even know about this.

Question, if Tom is married to Sally and Tom calls in to work on 12/10/08 does that mean he might be gay? I mean flu season is starting.

Being self-employed, with no deadlines today, I'm not sure if I can do much, but I certainly support the effort....

"A day without gays would be tragic because it would be a day without love."

Did they really say that? Shouldn't we start screaming about how they're dehumanizing heterosexuals and accusing us of being incapable of love? So much for the whole "just like you" argument, hm? Bigotry at its finest.

I agree with Madame X. That sort of thinking is a little too concrete and closes opportunities for dialogue, which is the whole point.

Tom's preferences would only be in question if he took half a day off thereby indicating he is bi. LOL

Nature for the most part is heterosexual and human beings are for the most part heterosexual but there have been a small percentage of gay people throughout history...

Human beings should be judged by the content of their character...

Gays pose no threat to the hetrosexuality of mankind and should not be discriminated against...

Countries that have legalized gay marriage have remained heterosexual and have suffered few if any ill effects by allowing gay marriages...
