Describe where you're sitting right now

I just read a post about pointless discussions, so I thought I'd start another one!
So describe where your surroundings right now as you're reading this.
I'm sitting on the sofa in the living room with my laptop. There's a terrific thunderstorm outside (I love listening to storms - there's a weird pink haze outside as the sun is going down through the storm!), I have a granny blanket on my lap and I'm feeling all cosy. My hubby is sitting in his Ikea poang chair (the one I have my eye on, dammit!) across from me. The lights are off and it's getting darker. I have a bottle of iced coffee (my favourite beverage!)on a coffee table next to me and I'm feeling entirely hedonistic.

I'm hunched at my desk with a heatpack on my acheing knees (how do you spell ache~ing, anyway ???) because the fire went out and it's too late at night to bother re~lighting.
There's no windows or interesting view or anything & it's almost eleven.
Bleagh.
I've gotta get to bed soon. -
I lay naked snuggled with my lover. We are both still sweaty, but continue to respond to discussions and search each others blogs for interesting posts. Often we find content that is worthy of much investigation and may even comement on the events to each other. The room is warm, and the sounds of the sea soft create a backgroud.

I'm sitting in tree about 30 feet up between 2 branches. Battery fully charged. I did it so that I say I was the first Blog Catalog member to join a discussion from the top of a tree.

Sitting at my computer in my favorite chair that the cat usually takes over if I get up. Facing southeast (feng shui says that brings wealth lol, but it was by accident because that's where the desk fits in the room). It's very sunny outside soon to break the 100 mark, if it hasn't already. Ah, Vegas in the summertime! (yuck!)

That's it! As soon as the husband returns from England, I will make him move my desk to the southeast corner of the room. I knew something was amiss.
Uh oh. That would put my desk in the doorway to the studio. If I go south then I will be in the fireplace. Perhaps I will move to another room in the house. Cheers

For the first time ever in Australia it's so cold I've grabbed a blanket and I'm sitting in my armchair wrapped up in it - usually I'm in bed at this time (2.30am) but there was soccer on the telly.
