Designers: have you been in a blog design show?

Just wondering...one of the designer in our office brought up art shows today and the idea of doing a blog design show and designers could win prizes for design, usability, etc.

Anyone ever been in something like this? If so, was it a good experience and what made it good?

  a blog design show specifically. I have never been to one, but something like that could be cool. just wondering if anyone else has been to something like this.
