So far I've made no money directly from my blog, primarily because I don't accept advertising as I feel it will weaken my message. I hope to eventually make money as people understand the importance of my services and sign up. In the meantime I find that I'm able to make money in other ways on the internet that don't dilute the primary purpose of my blog (that is, to attract clients to me, not to other advertisers).

I've made a small amount of money from my Amazon store, and some from ehow and I'm sure a little of my ehow traffic is directed from links on my blog although I can't prove it.

orble.com is the best place for blogging. They give you a domain blog with free hosting + anything else for free. I love it.

Once I read, make your blog as your hobby. The money should not be the priority, but its really understandable, once u owned a popular blog, you have ads and affiliate links well good luck and happy earning.

"I don’t recommend using a free hosted service like Blogger [blogspot] if you want to seriously monetize your blog. You don’t get enough control. If you don’t have your own URL, you’re tying yourself to a service you don’t own and building up someone else’s asset.

You want to build page rank and links for your own URL, not someone else’s. Plus you want sufficient control over the layout and design of your site, so you can jump on any opportunities that require low-level changes. If you use a hosted blog, you’re at the mercy of the hosting service, and that puts the future of any income streams you create with them at risk.

It’s a bit more work up front to self-host, but it’s less risky in the long run. Web hosting is cheap, and there are plenty of good hosts to choose from."

I don’t think there is a single best way to make money by blogging. I think the nature of the blog, the niche it’s in, and the quality of the contents are all factors that go into selecting the combination of advertising and affiliate plans that may be workable for any given blog. I have reviewed 20 different monetizing alternatives and the results are in this post.

I am making enough from my 2 blogs including mextena.com .
I have tried almost all methods of earning from a blog and succeeded with almost all of them.
Although I am finding little difficult to increase my earnings, I am managing to avoid decrease in it.

These articles probably aren't new, well there are tones of stuff to make money, not only AdSense, you got PPP(PayPerPost), the only way to increse your earnings is incresing the page rank, a page rank higher will bring more people to your blogs, and hoppfully, they're the right people, an other things you must be carefull(using adsense) is the type of ads, use the adsense filters, like Golf article, the guy is reading how to improve is skill in golfing, and then show up an add(Learn How to play golf!) he clicks and bam, you got money! LOL Althought I think your blog is syncronized with the ads but see the adsense filters and keywords for target ads!
