I know it's considered cool to make fun of guys like Tony as if he's some kind of new age type scammer. I downloaded some of his material and the guy makes alot of sense and seems sincere in his desire to help people. Good for him.

Hey, he gives positive advice. Nothing wrong with that.

    and...he's kinda hot, no?
  3. MarzRingo
Hot? I don't know. But he is a giant. Dude could probably eat my head as he chomps down on it with his insanely bright white teeth.

      "insanely bright white teeth."

Perhaps we will someday see an infomercial or attend a seminar with Tony Robbins selling teeth whitening systems....

      You should preface that with:
"Don't read this comment while consuming any food or drink."

come on, no one thinks he's even just a little hot?

Nope! His looks don't appeal to me at all.

Banana hands! Anyone know what that's from?

My husband is a big fan of Tony Robbins. I suppose he can be very motivating to a certain audience.

Personally I never heard of the guy. But viewing what he's doing, I can go for him. He should post here in the discussion board some time.

I doubt that he has time to socialize with us. I love tony, and all the others who make a living making us feel better about ourselves, and presenting us with tools to improve our lives.

      Thanks gerry for the tip.

He's also on my friends list and I have his blog as a favorite too.
    2. melindaville
Yes, I just added his blog to my favorites too!

And I just sent him a PM telling him about the Melindaville Foundation. I could use his help!

Strange....Never seen his huge head hanging about the forums he must have one of his Kool aid devotees join him up to these things much like the other "celebrity" member P Coelho.

    @Admin
I have a concern I want to express. If we BC members are going to be allowed to post threads like this one then where will the line be drawn?

If we can post "Did you know and what do you think of" threads about celebrities who are BC members, then can we post similar threads about non-celebrity members as well?

Frankly, I can't see how that BC community can benefit from the posting of threads like this one.

but you commented, so for at least a feeting second you found it benificial, and couldn't your conserns be addressed in a private shout to admin. Just my take on it

to Answer the question, I know he is a postitive speaker, not really familiar with Tony.

When I was in high school our neighbor ran a huge law firm, he made all his top level lawyers -whatever they were called go to a Toni Robbins seminar, my father went with them and took some people from his architectural/ engineering firm.
My father is no fool, he has employees all over the world. He likes them all to go to Robin's seminars. I can't say for myself I've never been - nor have I read a book.
He is really hard on fat unhealthy indulgent lifestyles I hear.

I know he promotes a type of alkaline diet. There's a popular ultimate fighter named Randy Couture. He switched to a diet simliar to the one Tony advocates a few years ago. He's now 45 years old and in incredible shape. But it's not just his looks that are impressive. At 45, he is still known to be in the best cardiovascular shape of any fighter, even guys half his age.

The Discovery Channel did a special on him and said he's an absolute freak of nature. They ran a test on his muscles that showed he actually got stronger the more he exerted himself. They said they've never seen anything like it. He attributes it to the diet. Of course, the diet is basically alot of raw veggies.

    So is Paulo Coelo....

Tony has done rather well fromt he old self help industry....the world does need more guidance....!

Raw foodies - dont they hate vegetables?
