Different in real life?

Topics: bloggers, introverted, personality
I noticed earlier on another discussion that bloggers, in person, tend to be an introverted bunch. I'm just curious...how are you different in person than you are online?
I insist to everyone that I'm painfully shy in person...but nobody believes me. I'm just much more at ease when I know people well.
What about you?

I am exactly the same online and off. I am extroverted to a fault, however it's mostly on a superficial basis.

I have spent my whole adult life working in the technology field, you would think that I would be an introverted nerd. But, I'm actually very extroverted and enjoy talking with people. I'm looking for a tech Account Manager job or some sort of tech support position right now. I love technology but also love listening to people complain and then help them solve their problems.
In my last position I managed a customer support department for a software company, that was a blast! Too bad they made software for the auto industry. -
I have the stick foot in mouth diesease in person. I am much calmer on line. I like to have fun both places. But I watch what I say here so I do not offend many people (notice the many there)
