I'm not trying to get you into my blog... I really need an advice, so I'm copying the whole post here.

Hey kids… I need your help. I’m thinking about getting a new digital camera and I’m not really up in the market so I was hoping to get some advice from you guys.
Mostly I’m looking for very good video quality (I want to start vimeoing) and movement control that prevents blurring (I have shaky hands).

I’ve been looking and the Sony T20 8.1 mpx seems like a good option, the video tests at youtube look okay to me, and I also like that it comes in pink (…I’m taking my wallet).

Though there’s a bunch of cameras out there and if I’m going to spend $320 on a gadget that will be in my purse most of the time, it better be solid.

Please, advice me.

I am no expert, but I ordered this camera here which should ship to me over the coming weeks. I am pretty fussy and this seems good enough.

Check out my reply to this question in the Photography Group discussions. The one I use is big enough for your purse... if you don't have a small purse (smile).

The Panasonic TZ5 is a good option, Optical image stabilization is ideal to reduce camera shake, and it records 720p High definition, better than the Sony's as they record 720i as far as im aware. Im not sure on the US retail price of this but in the UK it retails for about £190.00
