The Philippine government should look deeply into this matter

Talk about medieval age plague burning...

Strangely, Philippines registers some of the lowest prevalance of HIV in the world. Even if you discount that the numbers are severely underreported...

Although the Philippines has one of the lowest incidence of AIDS or HIV in Southeast Asia, fears arise that the continued deployment of millions of Filipinos in other parts of the world puts them at risk to the disease.

While outbound overseas Filipino workers are required to have their blood screened for HIV or AIDS, returning migrants, some of whom have stayed in areas with high instances of the dreaded virus, are not subjected to the same medical screening.

    That is so sad!

Where I live (USA),parents had to fill out permission forms for elementary school students to learn about HIV in 5th grade. The presentation is more about the science of how HIV can cause AIDS and what's going on with the immune system. Nothing about sex or being gay at all. I am so surprised that many parents wouldn't let their kids see it!

As a former preschool teacher, if I did ever receive an HIV or AIDS child, I had to basically protect this child from getting germs or sick from the other kids because that could spell their death.

It's amazing to hear in this day and age how people still can become fearful of things they can't understand. It's a sad day for the world.
