Can Black People Have Naturally Blonde Hair?
Can Black People Have Naturally Blue Eyes?
Can Black People Have Naturally Green Eyes?
Ever Seen Any Black People With These Features, your thoughts please?
I have and it really isn't that weird or uncommon as some would like to think.
The rest can be seen here on my blog

Apparently blue eyes started from a single genetic mutation that occurred fewer than 10,000 years ago in one individual and swept rapidly through the European population, according to a study published in the journal Human Genetics in January.
A single base-pair change in the human genome that showed up in all the blue-eyed people and none of the brown-eyed people.

Ever Seen Any Black People With These Features ???
I haven't seen any black people in my whole life except TV shows and basketball matches :))
They are as rare as diamond so that you can only see them in some of the places in my country.
I think their white teeth can make me blind so i don't think i can see if they have blonde hair or green/blue eyes.-
Too bad for you cause we don't work for FREE

My boyfriend has natural green eyes...sexy. But the more light skinned you are then the more likely you'll probably find people with blue or green eyes. I have never seen natural blonde hair on someone who is black but I have seen red hair, red/light brown hair is not all that rare.

Australian aboriginals and New Guinea natives are very dark skinned and have always had an abundance of naturally occurring blonds and redheads. The genes for blondness and redheadedness are not unique to Europeans. Light eyes however seem to have evolved within the European continent.
In the case of the New Guineans, their hair tends to be woolly. But the Aboriginals tend to have silkier, straighter hair. Although, generally they also have woolly hair too. This particular population in Australia is believed to be part of the first wave of humans that left Africa. It's interesting that the very earliest African populations tended to also show blondness. These people are represented today by the San people of the Kalahari. Their features are atypical for Africans. They are neither Caucasians like the North Africans, nor Negroid like much of sub Saharan Africa. They are racially unique, exhibiting racial characteristics that are more Asiatic (Nelson Mandela, for example, has a fair amount of San bloodlines...that explains the Asiatic cast to his eyes.)-
exModia...Yes it really all started in Africa and/or some would even say Australia as it's not reserved to any one race of people.
These features showed up long ago in black people though for some strange reason,
most white people believe it is reserved only for them. FALSE
Most black people don't even bother to argue with these facts, they already know them to be true so why bother to argue with the ignorant.
My teachers were also busy telling us in High School that Egyptians were not black people which is funny because I went to Egypt and saw very dark skinned people that I would consider black people. LMAO

In America, most blacks have white ancestors--and an awful lot of whites have black ancestors (as some of my ancestors were slaveowners, I doubtless have lots of African American relatives). For that matter, lines between races have never been anywhere nearly as clear-cut as people tend to think--if you walked from Scandinavia to Nigeria, you'd see, in fact, that skin gets darker and facial features change very gradually. The idea that everybody on earth fits in to one of these four categories--caucasoid, negroid, mongoloid, and australoid--is a myth created in the late eighteenth century.

drjay1966...Exactly we are not cookie cutter and we cannot be put into a box, thou some people like Hitler would try to control these colorful twist and variety of the gene pool, thank god he never succeeded or we would be bored to death with his superior race of blond, blue eyed people after he eliminated everyone else who didn't fit into his plan.

Excellent points drjay!
If one were to consider the passages, especially, the "Middle Passage" and studied any genre of history I'd be surprised if there were any true black, white, yellow, red, or brown 'true bloods' left in the USA.
When I think of nations that are far more accepting than the USA is, such as Germany, the U.K., I think there is a microcosm of the kind of beauty God created....in Brazil! ;-))
Always with respect, Always!

All of those things are possible my uncles have freakles and red hair. My hair is naturely blondish brown. My sister is the complete opposite with chocolate skin and jet black curly hair.
I like to think of it as the shades of blackness, the variety is never ending. -

Once again a great discussion topic by my friend, Jenuelle. For the sake of brevity I'll just keep my response to the main three questions, k? Yes, I have seen and know many blacks who are blessed (my humble opinion) with blue eyes; the best I've ever seen are kind of like Gary Dourdan's—inasmuch as they look almost like the eyes of a Husky dog, very, very, blue to the point of grey…simply awesome.
Yes I have seen and know many black folks with blond hair some with straight hair and some with tight hair; and, of course I've seen blacks with green, amber, chestnut, black, and very close to albino eyes.
I have not done the research, however, that will not stop me from getting to these links straight-a-way!; most importantly, jumping straight over from here to Jenuelle's blog. Excellent discussion, excellent responses!! -

Yeah green eyes are sexy and Arnous has green eyes.
Are people with green or blue eyes special?
No they are as special as anyone with brown eyes but blue may stand out more
because it's not too often you would see blue or green eyes verses brown eyes.

My youngest brother was very fair as a child (darkened due to tans when playing sports) and has sandy blond hair and blue eyes. Both of our parents are black. His best friend is brown-skinned with green eyes. I knew a biracial girl who had blue eyes and platinum blonde hair--and her mother was a brunette! You never know how we black folks will turn out not only due to the genetic mixture of Africans, Europeans and Native Americans, but because all Africans aren't dark-skinned with black hair and dark eyes.
However, I feel this topic can skate onto dangerous territory since the topics of light-skin, "good hair" and light eyes have been used against blacks throughout history. Without knowing it, we can drift into the cooing over green or blue or hazel or gray eyes as making the default foundation for beauty equal "white."-
@cherchezlafemme...Yes indeed and the point of this discussion to let people know that we all have nice eyes no matter what color they may be, sure blue and green may stand out more from a topical visual sense as it may be a little more rare or uncommon in numbers but the purpose of our eyes is to see and it's not a popularity contest.
We all have eyes and as long as they are functioning and we can see and that's all that matters as far as eyes are concerned but I am also aware of those who may have preference over certain eye colors because they have blue or green eyes and that can be dangerous
and discriminatory as it sends a message that blue & green
is superior to brown and other eye colors. RIDICULOUS
Nice hearing from you cherchezlafemme

Most of the black people I grew up around and went to school with in London were really dark, almost coal black (I knew quite a few with tribal scars at college) and it wasn't until I came to the usa I saw so many variations in skin tone etc

I am Jamaican and I have light brown eyes and long hair. We can be diverse as anyone.
Black is a concept, not a color. -
I've seen a rainbow of possibilities including a few friends who eyes changed colors. To me there has always been diversity because Africa you have so many different climates and cultures ; before the slave trade skin color has ranged from purple to white.
