Hey guys,

do any of you guys actually swap links with other medium traffic blogs (several hundred hits per day minimum).

I'm looking to find some interesting and unique bloggers to do the linkswap thing with.

Nope, I took the blogroll off my blog a while back.

I hate blogroll. I prefer to highlight the blogs I really like other ways. Claire, do you think you can click on my ads?
    2. crpitt
Yes I like to highlight them other ways, twitter, link in blog post, stumble etc.

I am clicking on your face right now.

You're the best! I've had a few guests over so I created a simple list on the right column to highlight their contributions. And yes, I like to link to other bloggers in actual postings. I don't care if they reciprocate, either. If others like me, they will link to me, no strings attached.

I need to keep a closer eye on you, build up some ammunition

CA has been gone for a few days and DB is in love. That should free up some time.

?? I can see disapproving of blogrolls of unrelated, comparatively useless links. But is that a reason to reject all blogrolls?

Yes, should you care to see mine, visit my SKDD site. I find it helpful to click and visit and my readers can see a few of my favorite writers.

crpitt ... you are listed on my blogroll. Funny. Ironic.

Mine was getting out of control, so all the good folk live in my RSS reader

I have 'swapped links' in a (very) few cases.

I do have blogrolls for two blogs ( anotherwaronterrorblog.blogspot.com/ and catholiccitizenamerica.blogspot.com/ ). In each case, the blog's topic is somewhat specialized, and the blogroll serves both as a service to readers, and a convenient way for me to keep track of relevant sites. But I don't make inclusion on either blogroll contingent on a reciprocal link - and will add a URL only if I think it links to content that's related to the blog.

It's not that I'm 'unfriendly' - but I try to make blogs and websites that people find interesting and/or useful.

      ptooneblog,

      Interesting.

www.xchange.thexyz.org - "Free, fast and simple website submission into Thexyz directory. No reciprocal link required required but it always appreciated. Fast inclusion within 24 hours! No email address required."

That has the virtue of creating lists of related links - something that the shallow end of link lists doesn't do.

All blogs inside my blogroll got 4 backlinks (of my blog) in the last Google Backlink update.
It shows that Link from the blogroll have enough power than the usual one.
So I am always interested in exchanging Blogroll Link with other bloggers on the same Niche.

I have been looking into the idea of adding some new blogs to my blogroll.
