Do you have a non blog website attached to your blog?

www.fluffybricks.blogspot.com has got a website to try and help miniaturists find penfriends, and also to list media that have dollhouses or miniatures in them, and to make sure people know about miniatures events.
There isn't much in it so far. But I'm trying!

Is there a better way to link a blogspot blog to a website than just having it in the links on the side?

How about yours?

Yeah I have a couple of websites attached to my blog. They are the ways that I use to earn money online. They are all free to join.

I use a combination of static pages and posts, although to be honest with a blog/wiki hybrid, it's more like wikipedia every day. My 13-year-old webmaster (a friend's son) has his hands full!

My website www.facedestiny.com came first, a mix of articles and products. The blog came later. Each has a link to the other, and to a further blog.

The challenge is keeping them all fed with relevant content, without repeating yourself.

It isn't difficult to incorporate a blog into a website. I've done several using Blogger.com blogging software and building a site hosted on a commercial server. My flagship site is A Writer's Edge,at www.writers-edge.info and the blog within is at www.writers-edge.info/Blog.html

I don't recommend having the blog and website hosted at separate servers and linking them to each other. Anything that causes visitors to have to click just one more time or open a new window or tab is an impediment to retaining them and encouraging them to return.

I also have a website building business, Hancock Websites at www.hancockwebsites.com that takes credit for designing and developing A Writer's Edge, of course! No blog there, though. Not yet.
