Do bloggers have gatherings?

Do bloggers ever get together? Are there bloggers' conventions or local meet-ups? Just curious...

I have met up with quite a few bloggers, but nothing formal like a convention.-
What do you mean it wasn't formal? That was only because you refused to wear the nametag and carry the clipboard, and then were late to all your sessions.

i have met up with local bloggers to talk shop, its gives you a great way to bounce ideas off of someone who knows and cares what your talking about. -
Blog World is the biggest bloggers conference. I was going to go this year but my husband and I have had a turbulent month of traveling and could not make it. -
In each niche there are conferences. In our local area, though, bloggers get together once a month or so. There are about 50 in our group. It can be a great way to meet other people and learn from them.
(Bloggers are usu. a fairly introverted bunch... once you get to know us, though, look out!) -
That surprises me! Introverted? Not THIS crew!

There was a Blog World Expo in Las Vegas in mid October. Big name bloggers like Darren Rowse and John Chow were there. Here's the link to read about it:

There's another one, The Nuffnang Asian Pacific Blog Award, took place recently. I saw pictures from the event...very elegant. -
You know what would be kool,like having an award ceromony with red carpet and everything. We could have dif catagories and get to dress up....that would be soooooo much fun!!!
