...When you're prepping things for your blog?
My best friend is always laughing at me when we're out shopping somewhere and I'm trying to take pictures of something to include in my blog.
I also use this little pottery 40s style car, pretty much as an icon, and put it in front of landmarks and take pics of it (sort of like the "Roaming Gnome") for my "Road Trip" blogs...
I've had many a confused look from the locals as I'm holding up this wee little car and taking photos of antique store and flea market signs.
Any good stories to share?

My friends wonder why I aint on Bebo (similar to Myspace) like the rest of them and why I spend so much time on line, when I tell them that I blog and I make money from it(not much though), I always get a blank stare before I know if they are interested or not, pretty 50/50, some change the subject others ask for my blog address. I have a few friends putting links to my blogs in their forum sigs, but most of the time they belong to one forum and it's totally unrelated to my blog, after it gets one click through after months of nothing, they ask for a cut in my profits lol.

They thought I was nuts before the PC was invented. They're just glad that there is something to take my attention away from them. None of them have read or even visited my blog, but thats probably a good thing.

I am always taking pictures of everything for my blog too. My father is my favorite person to torture...I mean photgraph,. But, I do get those long stares from strangers when I get all paparazzi about traffic shots!

HA! Your poor long-suffering dad. :-) My friends and family all duck out of the way. They don't want to make their internet debut.
But my neighbor caught me in the backyard photographing a really ugly typing table I planned to fix up and feature.
"E-bay, huh?" he said.
And when I told him no, he looked at me like I had four arms or something. His expression entertained me all day.
