I was cruising the web some time back and i found a forbes article about how these small group of people dictate every single moment of everyday and i found it interesting. here it is

The question "Do the billionaires own us?" is just absurd. It's a nonsense question. -
Yes they do. All huge conglomerates own us. We, the consumers are but little ant slaves who, by just going about our daily, normal lives, make them rich. Drug companies, phone companies, food, fashion, the list goes on.-

No they don't own us but they do own many of the things that we purchase daily. What it does mean is, they need us to continue to be Billionaires. -

True. They don't exactly 'own' us, but we are in their control to some extent. But only if we don't wake up from our sheep mentality and don't make our own INFORMED choices.

Control is an illusion, after all, even a billionaire is still stuck hurtling through space on a wobbly trajectory faster than they can imagine on a path to who knows where, like the rest of us. Saying that, they don't half have some influence but they must lead a sad life if they can't even affect the world positively with the power and influence they have. Sucks to be them! -
