Do You Actually Read Other Blogs?
Do they influence you enough to add them to your favorites? Just curious.

OMG! I can hardly keep up. Some are really good, and some suck, but I do try to get to everyone, especially the ones who have added me as their friend, heck what are friends for right?...lol. I have been on this computer most of the day, everyday. I think I better hire a full time maid/house keeper and maybe a blow up doll for my husband...lol...

I have about 35 blogs in my blog roll and I read them all or lese they wouldn't be there. I think probably read about 20 blogs per day if I average it out. These will be some favourites that I haven't got around to adding to my roll yet, some random ones from entrecard (mainly chosen from the arts and crafts section nut thats nots exclusive) and I will also stumble a few.

oops... I just started a similiar thread... so I'm being redundant. Worse things could happen. There are a few blogs I like to read regularily, but as far as reading goes, which I love to do, I prefer to read non-web and non-blog related materials... books, magazines, papers. I go through phases where I like to read blogs, but it is less enjoyable (exceptions to the rule here) than reading hard-copy published stuff... maybe that will change for me.

The thing about blogging is the sharing of information. I do read other people's blog to widen my knowledge, not just the ones that relate to my blog's theme. If I find that blogs that I have read with good content, I will leave comments to encourage the particular blogger. However, if the blogger is new, I also will comment too. Afterall, everyone starts off as new. It is the support going round the blogging community that make blogging fun and meaningful.

I scan more than 300 blogs a day reading no more than they excerpted posts but of those 300 blogs which on average have a collected 1000 new daily posts I only read maybe 50 to 75 posts in depth and listen to my text reader read another 150 to 200 of them as I walk around the house. I also make an average of 50 to 60 comments a day on blogs I am reading or post I listen to

I have been following a few blogs before I started blogging. I do read blogs on blogging and SEO but if the aim is to get reciprocal traffic I just read the title and scan the post in a minute or so and spam the comment box with a comment like "Nice Blog ... Cool Template" "thanx a lot for the valuable information" "Great pictures ... Plz post more"

well to be honest -- It depends if it something that grabs my attention if i scan a blog and if i see something that i consider worth reading ill stop for a moment if its well written or informative then yes and ill stay to read more if not i go on to the next blog.. Rinse and repeat..

I read loads of blogs, and the first time I find a new one that I like, I have been known to spend half a day reading through different articles. Even the ones I know I like, and haven't been by there in awhile, will draw me in for a lengthy stay.
My blogroll was growing and growing, so now I just ad blogs to it that relate to my niche, and the rest I add to my Google Reader.
There are just soo many excellent blogs out there. -
I use a google reader, a my- yahoo and the wordpress.com blog and tag surfers.
I read more blogs than watch TV or read books, mags & newspapers put together.
