Do you add friends here?

If some one add you as a friend here, do you add him/her as well?
Do you add only those blogger with same interests, same age?
Do you reject someone? why?

Yes, some friends have added me, I also do the same. I can access / read their blog more easily.

at times, I don't add 1000s. Its just a random thing....oh lookie here, maybe i'll add joe blow....yup, i'm kinda in the mood today...?!-

I add friends based on what they know, if I feel that I can learn from a person or if that person is a help to my blog then I will add them. Most of the time it can be random but it's always related..-
You also added friends random or related.
For me, I like to read different type of blogs to enrich my knowledge. I have added different site for easy access and read/comment.

I add everyone.. I look at their activity feed and hell.. Some guys are nevr in da discussion board..

I add them as friends, or make a comment, or drop a note on their shouts. I don't let any favor go unappreciated one way or another. In fact if someone visits my blog, no matter the intention, I also make it a point to visit. Of course, that depends on the time I have in my hands.-

I usually add the blogs that I have been too.
I send shouts now and then to blogs I have visited to tell them something awesome I seen in thier blog.
And I love doing blog reviews.
I have a big mixture of blogs types on my favorites, because I am interested in a ton of stuff, and they feed that interest.
I really enjoy my friends blogs, even if I don't always leave a comment, I still stop in for a quick visit just to see what they are up too.

For me, I like to read related blogs and other blogs because I have wide interest.
I simply enjoy reading and I will read and comment the post if I have ideas. It is ready fun for me, but sometimes I just feel sorry that I was unable to visit all.

Yes I do add friends here. I do not add anyone who pops a message into my shout box and demands that I mark them as a friend just because they added me. I consider that kind of activity to be spamming and I block anyone who does it to me.
Social networking is about creating blog centered relationships - real and actual relationships. Real and actual relationships are not created out of thin air. They take time and effort to cultivate.
Add a friend checklist?
(1) Does the other party have a blog that's related to one of my blogs?
(2) And if not do I enjoy reading the contents in that blog and have I been regularly reading and commenting on it?
(3) What are the categories and tags for that person's blog?
(4) What is the blog description, the blogging goals, and the focus?
(5) How many times has that blogger visited my blog?
(6) Has that blogger established a habit of leaving meaningful comments on my blog posts, and has that blogger formed an actual blog centered relationship with me?
(7) What's the PR (pagerank) of the other blog, and do they have any paid links on their site?
(8) Do they buy or sell links on their site or on the internet?
(9) What results do I get when I use the bad neighborhood checker and enter their url into it? www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm-

It is ready important to have interaction and not just add friends only.
For me, I do my best to interact with friends through discussion, visiting blogs and spend time to ready read the posts.
I like to contribute my ideas ( little thoughts )
