there are people who claim that they are living without eating and drinking water..and it has been scientifically proved that they are not faking*they say they were able to master some ancient "KRIYAS" AND techniques of yoga ....

I like to imagine them flying like I like to imagine jesus walking on the water. I don't know about those yogi,or about Jesus, I wasn't there to see^_^, but I know about what my imagination can conceived and the power it has!!

I remember hearing or reading about some monks who, through meditation, could lower their body temperature. Probably the mind can control the body fairly impressively if harnessed, and it only takes a few "miracles" to make a legend.

Dhalsim is all the proof I need of the miracles of Yoga.

Yoga exercises that are practiced in the US and the mind and body control exercises that are practiced by serious students and monks elsewhere are two different things.

While yoga can help one attain the kind of control over their mind and body that can allow them to do amazing seemingly "impossible" things - it is only a fraction of what is learned and practiced.

Don't worry, your yoga classes will not make you fly off in your sleep or separate your spirit from your body without your consent

What if I want to? Have an out of body experience that is. Do I need to take some acid beforehand?
    2. Anok
You need years of training and practice. But acid will make you think you did it

I think Ill just take the acid then. I dont want to train for years.

There's been some scientific verification of advanced yogis who could stop their heartbeats, go without oxygen for unusually long periods, and things like that, but nothing to do with flying or anything of that sort.

I know from experience that there are lots of benefits to be gained from yoga, but, no, contrary to what ancient and not-so-ancient texts say, I don't believe levitation or astral projection are among them.
