Do you believe in earning on internet?

This is a debatable topic, whether one can earn on internet or not. I guess this topicc is not only interesting but alos useful one at this time of internet revolution all over the world.

I read somewhere that statistically over 90% people who try to make money online fall flat on their face and never try again. go figure. think about it; if you have a local store, you can sell to local people. If you have an online store, you must be on page 1 on google to sell, and there are only 10 spots on the first page........ you are competing with millions, whereas locally you are only competing with local store owners. A lot tougher competition online-
I agree with you that more than 90% fail miserably in online business.

there is one thing a blogger should do to top google searches, branding. brand your own name or product, ex: coolbuster or cablenut setting.
try to search my name on google and yahoo and you'll find all of my blogs and articles, including those on other sites, in the top pages of google and yahoo search results.

It's like any other 'one man' business venture. (Specifically sales oriented) 90% will fail, 8% will break even, and 2% will do well. Yeah, I'm pulling these numbers out of nowhere....-

Nah, I do my blogging for free atm. If I were to start getting 300+ visitors a day, I'd start advertising to cover my bandwith costs.

It can be done, right now about $500 per day gross, off my main website. about $700 per month of one of my blogs. But I am selling physical products and have been doing it for a while.-

I agree, physical products can be profitable; you have to take risk. My friend owns online make up business for several years and it's growing, but he is the manufacturer of the makeup, not a reseller

earning is 100 % possible in internet - but not the easiest way.As elaine has pointed , most of the people have failed but they all fail to earn because they think that earning in internet requires no work.thats a very bad idea.to earn money you have to work - in case of a blogger you have to make great unique posts and make them viral.whatever field it is , working smartly would definitely bring results !-

Belief is just the beginning and anything you put after that word is a reality. No, I haven't raked in the millions yet but the belief is just as strong.
It is all begins with the thought. The passion will fuel it and your faith will give it the momentum.
I am talking from the other side of the United States, where the dollar hs held in high regard. Against the Indian Rupee, the dollar stands mighty. I thought I would be stuck with earning in my currency for ever until Internet happened and when it did, it was life-changing.
Do I believe in the Internet? Like hell I do. I do more than that.l revere it and I pray it remains the wonderful medium it is. -
If you're talking about making money through the exchange of goods and services, then I'm fine with the idea. It's when you start getting into revenue based on click-throughs and affiliate programs that you lose my support. That's why I try not to add anyone on BC that is doing any sort of blogging on making money and the like. Just more garbage on the pile. -

Probably because of the slowing economy, but it seems this is a popular topic of late.
People like to throw around numbers. In general, you often hear 90% of businesses fail in the first year. Where, if you look at the real numbers it is typically around 15% for the first year. So I am inclined to think the Internet business failure rate is also over stated. Sure, it is very easy to host a website, pile a bunch of ads on it, post little content and "say" you have started an Internet business. Then when the dollars don't start rolling in, close it down and say you failed. Geesh, this is like setting up a lemonade stand in your driveway!
You know folks. Making money online is just another business model. Many people and/or businesses make money online. So don't be so quick to poo-poo the topic.
I for one, DO make money online. We live on a sailboat full-time and an Internet based business works great for us. I just posted a comment to my blog and added a FREE link on my home page, all you have to do is subscribe. It spells out what WE are doing step by step.

I believe we can. I did earn $$ from the net. But not $100 in one day, everyday (although I did get $125 in a day once!). There are lots of programs out there. Choosing the right one is the challenge. -

Yes I do believe earning online, and only the easiest work and anytime I log-money on my account was there. The only reason people become flat broke is they don't believe with the product or company they belong too. Don't give up! and because the timing is not their yet. Earning $500-$1000 per month is easy to this profitable company.

Yes I beleive we can earn money online. Just like your normal day job, it involves hard work, hard work and more hard work. There is no such thing as easy money. But still, I enjoyed it coz I can do whatever I want , in my own way and in my own time. -

Yes, you can earn money on the internet but for most people the learning curve is steap and long.
Finding a program/programs that suit you and advertising properly are two very important issues, also be patient, build up your business slowly!
Don´t worry about the OTO, there are plenty out there, always a new one around the corner and most are useless.
Don´t read all the crap emails you get, dump them, they will put you off track, especially the ones that are aimed at trying to scare you by telling you how badly you are doing and how they are going to help! The truth is these email "tirds" most likely need help themselves.
If you need help, search for it yourself from people you have followed and trust. It does´nt have to be a self made "Guru".
People you have a relation to will be pleased to give advice without expecting you to join their programs. There are "some" really good mentors and programs out there.-

Yes I believe that you can make money online, my question is to you V, - do you believe that you can make money online? if you don't, everyone should - its just a matter of being consistent and delivering valuable content - stuff people want to read or see - focus on the people, not the money and you will make money in no time. -

Yes, it´s true, some say it is as many as 97-98%. This is probably true, because many people are lying about their success rate.
I certainly agree that branding is extremely important, better to spend some time branding than trying to make more sales. When you are branded as a respected partner,sales will increase.
