Last night I watch tv. One reporter interviewed the feng shui expert. She said 2009 is the year of the earthly ox. The lucky colors for next year is brown represents land and green represents money. I want to know your views on these?

The feng shui approach to decor has some merit: the choice of colours, textures and accessories, placed in a balanced, harmonious arrangements can make a person feel more relaxed in their presence.

But feng shui as fortune telling? I don't think so.

No not at all, it irritates me to hear about it. It's very materialistic. There is an Indian version that is much better called Vashtu.

I don't believe in feng shui.
Man is responsible in his fate and destiny.

I believe acupuncture can sometimes reduce pain by physically touching nerves with needles, but other than that, it's all placebo-based.

Thanks Uri. I appreciate your response. After having treatments for about 30 years I tend to disagree, or should I ask for my money back?

I have no way to relate to that without knowing why you went there in the first place.

By acupuncture, definitely. And chinese herbs

I think that Chinese herbs can sometimes work. After all, many conventional drugs are based on plants, although I think modern western drugs will often be more effective.
