Do You Believe The Theories That The World Will End In 2012?

There has been many speculations on the Internet about the year 2012. According to theorist, the world will end or there will be some sort of catasophre of some sort such as a comet will the Earth or something along those lines. These theorist believes this because of the Mayans who was an advanced culture. Their calender ended at 2012 and they made some grim prediction. What do you think? Is it all bull, or no?

yeah i know there are alot of post about this.. i personally dont think its going happen.. only because its like 3 years from now.. if it does.. well then it does there nothing we can do about it.. you know.. you shouldnt dwell on theday you think the world is going to end.. this is exactrly why people dont come with visible experition dates.. because then they will spend the last few years of there life in a panic.

no. i don't think our civilization will be around for much longer though. it'll be a gradual decline like we're seeing now, with global warming, scarcity of resources, etc. as the causes.

If the Mayans were that all-knowing, you'd think they might have been able to do something about the collapse of their empire or the conquistadores. An asteroid may hit the earth in 2012, but - then again - an asteroid could hit the earth any day or year.

Just read and follow what the bible says about the floods, fires, wars and so on... Maybe not in 2012 but the end seems to be happening as predicted. No one knows when it will come, there is no way to predict.

I think our earth will not end yet. But I believe that something will happen in 2012, not just big event but rather shocking one. But this just my instinct anyway. Let's see what will happen 3 years ahead.

But considering the earth is about 4.5 billion years old and will still be around for a few billion years, worrying about its fate when you live a maximum of 120 years sounds pretty absurd.
To me, anyway...
