Say you go out to eat with family and friends and you have a good time with some great food. You want to blog about the experience and maybe even tie in a lesson of significance: something ethical, personal, or otherwise. You even take some great photos of the event.

But the food you ate came from a national restaurant chain. And their branding is in the photos.

A a new blogger with very limited audience (so far! haha!), do you suggest mentioning the place and showing the photos that has the branding? I ask because I need the traffic but don't want a lot of click outs to the restaurant that I went to. The restaurant is big and popular enough to probably ignore my requests for any recognition (coupons, discounts, etc.). They do have a Flickr group (www.flickr.com/groups/330399@N25/) that I could post to and get some potential click backs.

In any case, what do you think? New bloggers, old bloggers, seasoned bloggers...what would you do? It's for one of my blogs (theactivedaddy.com) and I do a lot of talking about the food that I eat. Do I just blog it ad hope for traffic? Blog and not mention the place? Blog and just live with whatever potential increase they may get ay my expense (lol)?

OK, community. I need your respected insight.

Best,
Scott
