Yes I have plenty of tips for people looking for "REAL" work at home jobs. I list them daily on my blog. Plus I have a forum as well where members list the jobs that they know of as well. What kind of work are you looking for? My blog of course is occupationalhwy.com
Just let me know if you need any help.

I work from home. I teach online classes for a few different colleges and universities. It pays very well, offers me wonderful flexibility and freedom--I can travel anywhere and still work, which is perfect because my husband and I are bicoastal.

    I absolutely love it!

I agree, it sounds like the perfect job. Would you mind telling us how you got started? What type of qualifications you needed? By the way, I loved the word "bicoastal", never heard it before :-)

Most people can make a living from blogs, but the thing is the majority give up before that can happen. It takes years for blogs to get popular unless you get mentioned by a big site or news station.

@OCC, your website is set up really nicely, very easy to navigate!

Work from home, writing and energy healing therapies.
I do not make any income when I write for my blogs. I found sometime ago that internet marketing just bugs people so I don't have ads. on my blog. My advice and information is free for now.

Definitelly is completely better to work from home, results can be more effective and time better spend.

Not yet, but one day I'd hope so. Not sure if blogging will be the route or back to designing instead. I'm just dying to have an insanely large home office to get lost in.

I'd absolutely love to, but I don't work from home.

I think it's feasible to make a living from home -more and more employers are giving employees the flexibility to do it, and more and more people are becoming self-employed.

But I don't think blogging in particular is one of the easy ways to make a living. The competition is so huge that unless you have something super-interesting/new to say or, as said in other commnet, get mentioned by a big site, the chances are slim.

I agree that blogging is very competitive but there are so many companies that hire you to blog and pay per blog. The same goes with writing articles. There are many places that hire writers and they pay per article. It's a great way to make some extra cash if you need it and I do know that many people make a living at it. Some of these companies are now starting to offer health insurance options because they have so many people that write for them full time.

I am a self-employed person, though a lot of my work is freelance guiding (not exactly working at home, but still self-employed) but I also do some web design and take photos for corporate function things and just do various things here and there. I am lucky because my wife has a great job, helping to run her mom's business, and so I can earn lots one month and very little another, but there is always money for the bills and so on. It's fun, but it has taken a while to get going. I don't really earn money from blogging, but my blogging has lead to various jobs, some of which have been very interesting or profitable.
